  1. -ANYONE KNOW HOW MANY 2 DOOR BRONCOS ARE PRODUCED YEARLY? -

    Knowing I would have the same emotion played a large part to make the 41 month wait tolerable!
  2. -ANYONE KNOW HOW MANY 2 DOOR BRONCOS ARE PRODUCED YEARLY? -

    Thanks for the link! I'll post some pix there after I take her to Glamour Shots. Right now she's covered in dried salt spray from transport. Unavoidable, but she's not happy about it.
  3. -ANYONE KNOW HOW MANY 2 DOOR BRONCOS ARE PRODUCED YEARLY? -

    Here's one more, she just made her debut on the Heritage Edition Thread.
  4. Heritage dilemma

    On decision making, a great line of dialogue from the HBO series "Boardwalk Empire": "Flip a coin. While it's in the air, you'll know which way you want it to land."
  5. Heritage and Heritage Limited Bronco - What's your number?

    Finally, the cactus gray ones are blooming! To me, the white-gray-black gradient really works without looking 'busy' with a lot of colors competing for attention.
  6. Heritage and Heritage Limited Bronco - What's your number?

    I think that 500 is a generous estimate. Based on the range of VINs reported here of the various statuses, and an informal survey of on-line dealer listings, I'll take the under on 350 HE and HEL 2 doors produced in MY2023. I expect the number of 2023 HE + HEL 4 doors produced will be in the...
  7. Heritage and Heritage Limited Bronco - What's your number?

    You are referring to the standard 2023 MY Heritage Edition 2 door, of course . . . um, right?:rolleyes: I doubt Ford planned for it to be so. Regarding the Heritage Edition Limited, I agree with you, but I imagine Ford hasn't any idea right now what total 2023 production will end up at. Perhaps...
  8. Heritage and Heritage Limited Bronco - What's your number?

    The VINs in question were stock images, with actual paint not matching the description in some cases. For example: https://www.atchinson.net/inventory/new-2023-ford-bronco-heritage-edition-4wd-convertible-1fmde4chxpla20319/ And, I've mistaken all this time in referring to the Bronco as a truck...
  9. Heritage and Heritage Limited Bronco - What's your number?

    As my Friday social calendar has been open since the discos closed down, I took a look at the car listing sites (Cars.com, Truecar, Cargurus etc) to see what 2023 2 dr VINS are listed in dealer new car inventories. A few observations: The highest 2 dr VIN within the range being established here...
  10. Heritage and Heritage Limited Bronco - What's your number?

    @Kenny86 223 is Cactus gray.
  11. Heritage and Heritage Limited Bronco - What's your number?

    @Kenny86 223 is built as of 11/16/23.
  12. Heritage and Heritage Limited Bronco - What's your number?

    I took the VIN numbers from a search of their current inventory - those listed as "sold" are presumably in production (and are automatically listed as dealer inventory, I believe), but haven't yet been delivered to Granger. Your VIN isn't listed since you've taken delivery. Lucky duck.
  13. Heritage and Heritage Limited Bronco - What's your number?

    #319 is a Heritage Limited Edition, so the highest HE reported is #224. Granger's website shows "sold" HE 2 drs with VINs ending in 0218, 222, 223 (mine) and 230, all MT. 4 drs with VINs 104, 105, both MT. 4 doors 407 and 416 (both V6/AT) are on their lot.
  14. Heritage and Heritage Limited Bronco - What's your number?

    HE, 0223, 2 DR, MT, Cactus Gray. In production since 7/20/23, missing a nut or something. I am encouraged yet again, this time by the vacancy on the milk carton.
  15. Have a name / nickname for your Bronco?

    'Melange'. Backstory in my signature. Because apparently I am a 63 yr old child. Which honestly, is the whole point of getting my Bronco. Also, if spending $2000+ on parts for a vehicle I haven't received yet is not enough of a commitment.
  16. Painted Mod Top Crew - What Are Your Plans Going Forward?

    Several hyper emotional considerations so far. . . 1) Folks, on the bright side, in these wacky times when the price of everything is spiraling, to order my Bronco today now costs $1895 (MSRP) less! #winning 2) Since I've been waiting this long, 2023.5 is only 6-9 months away. 3) Since I'll...
  17. South Dakota trip

    Haven't been in the area for over 20 years, so I don't know current camping accommodations, but I imagine Custer S.P. as a starting point. Other sites to visit include Jewel Cave Nat'l Monument, just west of the town of Custer. Also, if you don't mind the extra miles, Devil's Tower in Wyoming...
  18. OBX in Charlotte

    Myles, I've only lived in CLT for 20 yrs or so, but weather wise, I'll bet you can plan on suitable weather at least 'til Thanksgiving, if not into December. 👍Just don't forget your hat! Hopefully I'll be ready for a 2023 meet up.
  19. OK So What's the Verdict? (Manual 2.3 or Auto 2.7?) POLL

    Schwinn was BIG money. Note I spelled 'tycoon' with a lower case t. I settled for a Columbia. It taught me how to take machines apart. About the third time through I learned how to put things back together. But, at the time, Schwinn 'Continental' FTW! Center pull brakes and everything!
  20. OK So What's the Verdict? (Manual 2.3 or Auto 2.7?) POLL

    Right hand says, "manual!". Left leg says, "Automatic!" Right leg is busy no matter what, and left hand is practicing old-timey turn signals. For this daily driver, left leg wins. With 4.7 gears, I'm looking forward to 10th gear, to see if I can crack 19 mpg in steady driving. . . Besides...
