  1. 2024 Land Cruiser 250 (LC250) vs. Bronco Black Diamond 2DR -- comparison photos & driving review

Take a foot or so out of the wheelbase and make a 2-door and I'm there waving cash.
  2. Bronco got broken into last night

Not to mention placing anything loose and of value in the cargo area of the vehicle so it can't be readily seen through a window. Even spare change. The truly desperate will break a window just for a handful of change and think nothing of it.
  3. 2025 Bronco Spy Shots -- New Trim?

I must be the only person that took one look at those wheels and shuddered about how much of a bastard they would be to clean....
  4. Would you Revert to Old Times?

Odd how my '04 F150, which I bought new and owned for nine years, was one of my favorite and most reliable vehicles to date. Regular key, check. CD player, check. 12V port, check. Was never in the shop once outside a recall on the steering column clockspring. Just gas, oil changes, and tires. As...
  5. Age and Reason for 2door and 4door buyers

55, 2-doors rule, no need for a minivan on stilts.
  6. Update: 2024MY Job 2 New Content Changes + 2024 Bronco MSRP Pricing Decrease

They better keep cutting pricing.... (And bring back the base....)
  7. Resale Question: What is my Bronco really worth?

Man, if it wasn't black and I didn't have my JL I'd be very interested since you're close.... Congrats on the upcoming baby!
  8. Deer vs '23 Heritage Limited......

Stupid deer. After having one nearly kill me on a motorcycle a few years ago, it wouldn't bother me one bit if they were eradicated. Here's to deer hunting!
  9. Will Bronco hold resale value like Jeep JL? Amazing numbers.

My '23 JL Rubi 2-door listed for over $48K, and I took it home for $43K and change. Having owned four other Wranglers, I knew resale would be good when/if the time was right to move from it because it's more or less a constant. A Willys would have been the sweet spot in reality, but I wanted...
  10. Is 300,000 miles possible?

Those pre-phaser 5.4s are anything but garbage. We had a Super Duty shop truck with the 2V 5.4 go well over 400K, and it still ran like a top but the body and box were rusty beyond the point of being safe. It was used and abused, but maintained.
  11. First Mod: In Loving Memory

Sorry for your loss, man. Cancer sucks. I lost my son in early '20, only child. It never goes away.
  12. Where the hell is my VIN?! Missing Windshield VIN

This. DMVs don't have a sense of humor about these things.
  13. Where the hell is my VIN?! Missing Windshield VIN

I actually photograph them and the door tags when I get a vehicle. Then I have them for reference down the road, whatever the case may be.
  14. An idea for Ford from a relic Ford guy

*cough* Godzilla 7.3 *cough* Modernized 300 with a head based on the 7.3....yeah, I could see it. The old 300 was my Dad's engine of choice in a pickup when you could get them. Had three, they ran forever.
  15. Ford Dealer Lots OVERFLOWING! Bronco Lot Rot

Wrangler resale has been and is crazy, which is why I had no qualms about ordering my JL Rubi when things were dumb in Broncoland and ordering a base was on indefinite hold. Since I got a hefty discount off list, I could probably almost get what I paid for it today, almost a year later. I've...
  16. New member. Pending purchase

If you're not in a hurry and are flexible on the choice, I'd wait until summer. The market is softening now, but it will continue to do so.
  17. Ford Dealer Lots OVERFLOWING! Bronco Lot Rot

Definitely. Only for me it's Ford in general, and no specific dealer. I wanted to buy a '22 GT500 but couldn't find an allocation at MSRP, gouging dealers turned me off. Fast forward a few months, wanted to order a Bronco, everybody and their brother wanted to gouge again (and the base model...
  18. 2024 Ford Bronco Review: Yes, it's awesome, but ... Autoblog

They have. I looked at a fairly loaded 2-door BL Sas sitting in the showroom of the local dealer. Almost $67K on the sticker, and they were offering a grand off list like it was a big favor. I paid $43K and change for my new JL Rubi last April. I'm not seeing $20K+ in value, kids. I still...
  19. 2024 Ford Bronco Review: Yes, it's awesome, but ... Autoblog

Yes. Yes, indeed. I've been looking for a minty XJ 2-door with the 4.0/manual for a while now...
