Not to mention placing anything loose and of value in the cargo area of the vehicle so it can't be readily seen through a window.
Even spare change. The truly desperate will break a window just for a handful of change and think nothing of it.
Odd how my '04 F150, which I bought new and owned for nine years, was one of my favorite and most reliable vehicles to date. Regular key, check. CD player, check. 12V port, check. Was never in the shop once outside a recall on the steering column clockspring. Just gas, oil changes, and tires. As...
Stupid deer.
After having one nearly kill me on a motorcycle a few years ago, it wouldn't bother me one bit if they were eradicated. Here's to deer hunting!
My '23 JL Rubi 2-door listed for over $48K, and I took it home for $43K and change. Having owned four other Wranglers, I knew resale would be good when/if the time was right to move from it because it's more or less a constant. A Willys would have been the sweet spot in reality, but I wanted...
Those pre-phaser 5.4s are anything but garbage. We had a Super Duty shop truck with the 2V 5.4 go well over 400K, and it still ran like a top but the body and box were rusty beyond the point of being safe. It was used and abused, but maintained.

Modernized 300 with a head based on the 7.3....yeah, I could see it.
The old 300 was my Dad's engine of choice in a pickup when you could get them. Had three, they ran forever.
Wrangler resale has been and is crazy, which is why I had no qualms about ordering my JL Rubi when things were dumb in Broncoland and ordering a base was on indefinite hold. Since I got a hefty discount off list, I could probably almost get what I paid for it today, almost a year later. I've...
Definitely. Only for me it's Ford in general, and no specific dealer.
I wanted to buy a '22 GT500 but couldn't find an allocation at MSRP, gouging dealers turned me off. Fast forward a few months, wanted to order a Bronco, everybody and their brother wanted to gouge again (and the base model...
They have.
I looked at a fairly loaded 2-door BL Sas sitting in the showroom of the local dealer. Almost $67K on the sticker, and they were offering a grand off list like it was a big favor. I paid $43K and change for my new JL Rubi last April. I'm not seeing $20K+ in value, kids.
I still...
