  1. (fun list!) Bronco accessories to be avoided! (keep it friendly)

I’d assume that it would be pretty easy for a manufacturer do a wind tunnel test on these and see if they have any positive effect. But I’ve never seen one.
  2. (fun list!) Bronco accessories to be avoided! (keep it friendly)

I would add the factory optional roof rack for a 4-door to the “do not buy” list. In addition to having plastic fittings at the attachment points and joints, the rack doesn’t extent to the rear of the car and inhibits you from removing the 2nd row roof panel! Huge design flaw from two groups at...
  3. (fun list!) Bronco accessories to be avoided! (keep it friendly)

I just can't buy that a small change in wind direction could affect the path of a rock that's big enough to chip a windshield - the physics just aren't there (right?). Bugs maybe.
  4. What exactly is in "Sasquatch Package" ?

Given your grill and bumper combo, I think this is a Base model, correct?
  5. What exactly is in "Sasquatch Package" ?

Looks like someone tinted your front windows.
  6. What exactly is in "Sasquatch Package" ?

well whatever he did, he made a nice looking Bronco out of it. I'm sure if you take a few pics of the front and rear suspension, this crew can tell you whatever else is has been changed. Maybe you hit the jackpot. There is a high chance that your car has other accessories added that you don't...
  7. Which do I pick?

don't worry, you're unfortunately going to see people on this forum who like to act like other people are not worthy or don't want them "for the right reasons." This is just people on their high horse who want you to think that they are a real-man offroader while you are just a poser and are...
  8. Which do I pick?

That means Ford did something right.
  9. Which do I pick?

yeah don't spend over 50K on a Big Bend - I don't think you'll feel like you have a 50K car. you will have low level rental car grade interior. you can do better. you're on this forum which shows you care enough to not make a mistake you can't undo. Go used keep looking.
  10. Which do I pick?

Seems to me you need to first decide on 2-door or 4. That will probably make a bigger difference than anything during the time you own the car (If I was 18 and single, I'd probably get a 2-door). Then your criteria for price, capability, and luxury. As a younger man, I would always steer clear...
  11. Which do I pick?

Both trim package are fairly minimal from a standpoint of luxury and interior options. The BD is clearly more capable, and I would imagine will hold its value better. I consider the BD to hit a certain sweet spot for a lot of people that prioritize function over fashion. But if I were you (or...

Bull bar for plastic front bumper: nope.
  13. (fun list!) Bronco accessories to be avoided! (keep it friendly)

Thanks for the save on this! I was about to buy the very same ones you had first.
  14. (fun list!) Bronco accessories to be avoided! (keep it friendly)

    - oh this might ruffle feathers but I’m gonna say replacing the factory CAI with a $400 “kit” that includes an air filter and plastic box with a window so you can see your air filter… filtering.
  15. (fun list!) Bronco accessories to be avoided! (keep it friendly)

Good list but for for people like me with 2021 6-speaker system, the dollar amount should be higher, no? It really sucks like even for the 80’s.
  16. (fun list!) Bronco accessories to be avoided! (keep it friendly)

So now that a few years have passed and many of us have experienced and observed the many accessories that one could waste money on, what would you recommend your friends avoid when pre-ordering accessories from Ford and 3rd parties while eagerly waiting their Bronco delivery? Which things would...
  17. Differences Between Wildtrak and Badlands

and one more - the back of the front seats of the Badlands have a plastic molle panel whereas the Wildtrak has traditional pockets. And then there is the washout floor thing but you probably already know about that.
  18. Differences Between Wildtrak and Badlands

Another easy distinction to miss (which is not obvious on the website) is that the Badlands has a steel rear bumper and two tow hooks. The Wildtrak has a plastic rear bumper and only one tow hook.
