You will get a variety of answers none of which are wrong. It all depends on what is it that you're planning on doing with the rig. If you air down to 18-20 lbs and don't do any aggressive crawling/turning while on rocks, most wheels will work. I have run down to 12lbs with no issues but not...
12 cold on 37s for non beadlocks, but its always been on the same Mickey Thompson baja boss AT tires. Run this for comfort and grip/flex over rocks.
Would be different depending on tire and terrain.
On beadlocks, its been awesome running 6.5 cold on my other rig.
The valve stem mounts to the wheel. Once they dismount the tires, they can remove the tpms sensor from the inner side of the valvestem. They may swap your original valvestem or mount new ones then reattach the TPMS sensors onto the new setup.
Honestly I don't think your going to like the look...
Does @Mishimoto have an option for closed end lug nuts same ones as I have but just closed end? Also, is there an option to purchase just 7 lugs separately? Don't want/need to carry an extra socket around for the locks which aren't really locks to begin with.
You beat me to it, I even went under fuel website and I found one that he could have been referring to, but there were still significant differences if you been around aftermarket wheels for a bit.
Besides the obvious features that I like about this wheel, there is the valve stem placement, not all the way up on the barrel edge/lip where its potentially exposed.
Also the spokes are the same way, there's a slight margin where spokes are protected from the edge, others that come to the lip...
Responded about a month ago with the wheels, posting up an update on 37s. Only difference now from before is the tires, RPG'd, and RCI sliders. Couple of other things not in the pics nor pertaining to this thread.
BTW, using the discount tire card and military discount combined saved me a...
Damn, about a month late for me but.... I might just have to make the switch regardless. The new rash ring along with everything else that was there for the bead retention is key for me.
Do you or can you release specs such as weight for a 17x8.5 ET0?
Be careful, these are famous last words. I said the same when I got into an off road capable vehicle. Next thing you know, you're hooked and climbing out of things on 2-3 wheels.
I think its going to depend on tire and terrain. In general when I had 37s mounted on Method beadgrip wheels, I always aired down to 12psi and no issues even on obstacles.
Yeah those aren't a bad option, they are the beadlock capable wheels. The rings on those are not the beadlock rings. Plenty for sale around the country as well for a great price.
Have you run beadlocks before? If so, disregard the long read below. If upi're referring to the factory beadlock rings, also disregard below as I'm unfamiliar with them and their intricacy.
I run beadlocks on my Jeep but I mostly air down to below 10 lbs while on the dirt. There is...
Yeah for the most part itll be fine. I run 8lbs in my spare as its mounted on a beadlock. But there are still some ledges that are a drop and I'd rather not chance getting a warped tailgate and such haha.
The only time a spare comes into play is when dropping down off a ledge/rock. I have removed mine on the jeep when I know I'm going to be coming down off something significant. But this took a bit more $$$ to do it easily.
I have the teraflex HD carrier package when running the spare...
