I had rokblox and removed the plastic blocks and still rubbed on 37s. Had to remove them completely. However my RCI sliders with top plates are doing pretty good at keep most stuff off the body.
Just an update, have the turn off road full tailgate kit and have no issues still. Been off road quite a few times as I hit the dirt each weekend, sometimes multiple times. No issues over washboard trails, or during flexing and such.
If I were to start over, still would purchase the same item.
When choosing mine, had to have the following:
Full hinge replacement
- I wouldn't even consider one without the hinge replacement
No plastic, wanted full steel
Adjustability for different tire sizes both height and for different offset wheels meaning adjustability for depth
needed to have a...
I use the TurnOffroad tire carrier and reinforcement. I'm extremely picky with what I go with, let alone what i actually end up being happy with. This.....I'm completely happy with, went with it for the following and it did not disappoint:
- fully adjustable for different tire width/wheel...
A friend asked me to install their tailgate reinforcement from a different brand. In the beginning, was very frustrating as the bolts weren't lining up. Almost made completely new unrecognizable cursing sounds. Could get one but not both. But then came up with a process to stick a small...
Very nice, I can appreciate this type of mod. One of the first things I looked at while looking at a braptor in person was the brace.
Love how theres a few people questioning if the OP knows what trim he has. Loved the response with a long list of bronco's he has owned. And another person or...
I'm a bit biased towards the LP6 so its an obvious yes for me. Have them on my Jeep and just added a set to the bronco last Friday as well. My setup is a bit different than yours but for night runs, it definitely helps.
LOL ask me how I already know this..... What was a 15-20 minute job turned into a couple hours. And like you, was about to give in. I think if it weren't for being a friends vehicle, I would have. Felt like I just won some championship once completed.
Just give it a little bit of time..... then go back out n try again. Once you get it done, you'll have even more unique vocabulary coming out of your mouth.
I did this install recently for a friend and yeah, the last one was a pain. I almost was giving up when I thought of an idea and luckily it worked.
Before tightening up the one adjacent to it, use a small screwdriver or a skinny thin tool to keep the 2nd one lined up as good as you can. Then...
I do have the typical Amazon hood struts on my jeep and have no issues, but for the Bronco, decided to go with redline. Got the regular lift as it's plenty to get under the hood, even running an antenna wire through the firewall and connecting the Aux wiring. Any higher, and I probably...
Alright so I waited a month as budget is tight. 37s are on order so I went ahead and ordered the tailgate reinforcement and the tire carrier. Because of the forum discount, I went ahead and threw in the spare tire delete plate. From what I've seen in this post, their customer service is top...
Update, after a couple of trails and hearing all the rocks being kicked up, took apart the lower portion of the fender liner and removed the plastic piece just taking up space.
Reinstalled the rokblokz and no rubbing now.
I installed the front RB mudflaps and already removed them. On the 23' wildtrak it rubs. Have had RB on many vehicles in the past and with no issues.
Installed and noticed it was really close to the tire, backing out of the driveway it rubbed and pretty much anywhere while turning. No...
