One of my favorites. It's not mine tho. It's been posted here before.
The wheels with the hubcaps and trim rings are just perfect. The chrome sliders and roof rails are another nice touch.
That's an incredible garage.
Is that a Buick GS chassis and body on rotisserie?
I think I know your dad from the V8Buick forum. I have a bunch of 66's..... packed into a 32x50.
I want the sliders not necessarily for a step, but to add some door-ding protection in parking lots, as well as road debris.
@ 5'10" I found the Sas Bronco to be similar to my '91 F-150 with 32's as far as getting in/out.... I just kinda slide in. The sliders may be helpful as a step for some...
^^^ Redrock I think.
The Havocs have the mounts attached, they bolt on to the factory slider locations. The others appear to have separate brackets.
I ordered the Havocs back in Sept. They are finally back in stock on their webpage, $382.
Either of these are a great value! Others I was...
The Havoc's are slightly different.... the outer tube wraps around the straight tube at the sill. The other two have a longer tube at the sill. Baus has the RedRocks?
Clambor's have a rougher texture. All are the 3 tube design, which I like.
I got the Havocs, weigh 26 lbs each. They're waiting...
I like those sliders! Do you think they will provide some parking lot door-ding protection?
It's a nicely done build, hope to get my 2 dr BaseSquatch in the coming year.
It looks fantastic!
Can you give us more details about the procedure?
It looks like you didn't sand the MIC surface flat and used a primer-surfacer to fill the irregularities.
What primer and primer-surfacer did you use?
I do my own work too, but still waiting for my 2 dr BaseSquatch to get built.
Do a search for Wharton State Forrest, and further north is Brendan T. Byrne State Forrest.
I was one of those illegal dirt bike Pine Barron riders back in the day! I'm not up to date on where the legal Jeep/Bronco trails are, but both of the st parks I mentioned have lots of unpaved roads.
I'm jealous! I'll never get the AMB BaseSquatch I reserved in 2020.... I resorted to a Velocity Blue BaseSquatch that I'll maybe see in 2023.
Congrats on getting yours, that's a sweet Bronco!
Congrats! The wait must have been excruciating.
Dirt Mountain (Willow Run) is where they built the B-24 bomber, known as 'The Liberator'.
Your Bronco has been Liberated!
YeeHa!
It is an airport..... Willow Run. Their FB page says keep it under 400 ft, but there is an app that will give you more details:
