Great thread from my perspective, being a guy who wanted to buy a 2-door Bronco in '22/'23 (and still sort of does), but ended up ordering and buying a '23 2-door JL Rubicon. Why, you ask?
Where to start....
Let's start with the Ford dealers. Due to all the supplier constraint nonsense, nobody...
Again, apparently I got lucky on the dice rolls. My '13 JK was fantastic outside the timing cover and front axle oil leaks, both of which occurred before 60K miles.
On the bold, I spent a bit of time in a relative's 4-door OBX over Thanksgiving weekend and have to agree. It reminded me somewhat...

My '19 F150 holds my current personal record for most times in the shop within the first 20K miles...
Congrats on the new XR. I think you'll love it, I wish the XR package could be had on 2-doors.
I'm a 2-door only guy, and really want/wanted to try a Bronco. Because the base model was on hold forever and many here were waiting years to get their rigs, not to mention ADMs, I opted to order my...
No matter how you look at it, that's a hell of a deal for a solid overland build foundation.
Not a fan of them, too long and strangely proportioned and, having had two 2-door JKs with the 3.6, I have to imagine that they're on the gutless side. If they had made a 2-door version with a 6.5' bed...
I was once being unable to order a base Sas dragged on long enough, and I never guessed the trim would be killed altogether for '24. And now the 2-door Badlands isn't available with the 2.3/auto.
