  1. Park brake failure

Great... I had the parking brake error today while running errands. Popped up when I opened the door, before even starting it. I was parked on a very slight incline, so it may have tried to apply it while I was in the store. It went away after I started so I didn't sweat it. Very tempting to...
  2. Drive Mode Not Available Error Message

I just did the same thing. Had me cursing the Bronco gods for a few minutes.
  3. UPDATE: Great day in Moab until my Bronco broke down (Overheating)

I'll be the first to admit that I don't know shit about these modern engines. The point I was trying to make is when there is air in the cooling system, it's not going to function as expected, and the coolant level can't be trusted.
  4. UPDATE: Great day in Moab until my Bronco broke down (Overheating)

Heater blowing cold is a common symptom of air in the system. Also once air is in the system, the temperature sensors will no longer be accurate. What you describe leads me to believe the most plausible explanation is the hose came off first. I know that is not what you want to hear. Lets just...
  5. UPDATE: Great day in Moab until my Bronco broke down (Overheating)

The Bronco uses a surge tank and a maze of hoses. If there was air in the system it makes sense that it was still full. It is impressive if you drove 3 hours with no coolant. Yes, I think it could be possible for excessive pressure to cause a hose to pop, however I would think that would...
  6. UPDATE: Great day in Moab until my Bronco broke down (Overheating)

Makes sense. Once air is anywhere in the system all bets are off. As for the hose, there a have been reports of clamps not being properly set from the factory. Or it is certainly possible for a rouge branch to snag it. Strange things happen off-road. Once the hose popped, it would have drained...
  7. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

Well mine is good so far. I’m at a year and 7K. Don’t want to jinx myself, but 67 failures is a very very small number overall.
  8. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

Mine falls in that window (196). I know there are others that have posted too.
  9. Steering resistance inconsistent

Is your lane nanny turned on?
  10. *UPDATE - RESOLVED* Anyone else have starter issues? (Multiple failures to start)

Definitely check battery terminals, cables and grounds. Something is loose.
  11. Changing Physical Key on Bronco Door (Key fob & Bronco stolen, but we took it back)

Steering wheel locks have always been a joke. You can cut through the steering wheel in a few seconds.
  12. The accessory ready dash mount is trash!

Probably need this whole piece. You can see the part number in the pic.
  13. My Bronco Died Today, Deep Into a Remote Trail [Fuel Pump Failure]

I think I'd try at least rolling down hill to get it level, if not slightly uphill.
  14. Deep Sleep Mode

You have to check voltage before starting the engine, otherwise you are seeing charge voltage.
  15. UPDATED: MIC top seal letting in wind noise and water leak

That's it! However the Mrs. upgraded me to TSB 21-0002-B which is a significant improvement.
  16. Has anyone seen this? Frozen windows

Dang, tough crowd today. I made that video specifically for you SOB's and shared it here a couple weeks ago. Yes the EB runs. Yes the 21 lives outside. Yes, it is my first frameless window vehicle. No, I don't think warming it up for 30+ minutes is reasonable. Yes, I did remote start it. Yes, I...
