You can run the wire for the camera anywhere you want. It’ll just take some custom brackets you might find at the hardware store to mount it wherever you want. Maybe over the top of your middle brake light? Or drill some holes in the bumper. You can also pop a small hole in the tire cover...

Unfortunately the angled trim piece is one-way only. I would have prefered a slightly downward angle as well, but found it had to be mounted with the up angle. I don’t find it to be too difficult to see the display at all.

Don’t know about any upgrades but I’m very happy with mine. The only thing extra I had to do was buy a better memory card. The one that came with the package kept running into recording /writing speed issues. Since I changed that out, it’s been awesome.

I’ve got the Wi-Fi hotspot setup in my Bronco and the password is currently a random set of letters/numbers. Problem is that it seems every time my kids go to connect, they need to re-enter the password on their device to get a solid connection. Anyone know how to set up a custom password...

I’m not sure which package might have what. I got the Lux package, and the base piece comes out from the console, but the Ford charger is permanently attached to the bottom of that base piece. Or rather, the top piece of the charger IS the base piece that fits in the console well.

10-4. I got excited thinking there was a way to remove the charging block from the well bottom panel. Yes, it needs a hole saw, but if replacing the lux, then you have to replace the well bottom panel as well and drill a hole in the replacement panel.

Hmm, sorry man, that sounds like it’s a faulty sensor or wiring to the sensor. Dealership will have to help you out.

I’d try Forscan. I turned off all the belt minder chimes with it, and now the only notification I get is a warning on the dash if my kids unbuckle. For that I have to restart the rig to reset.

I got the Brandmotion rear view mirror/cam. It’s got recording feature and g-shock trigger, however it only covers the view front and back of the vehicle, not the sides or interior.

I tried to do this today as well. Unfortunately the bottom of the charger well is one piece with the factory charger. I’ll need to order a replacement bottom I think. Why replace the OEM charger you ask? Because the factory charger technically works, but charges slow and makes my phone hot...

Thanks, I do have those instructions for the mirror, but I’m wondering about the radio power. I’d prefer not to overload a single fuse for three items.
