Why don’t people just order two crossbars and put them both on the clamshell portion? I know I could use my ski and bike racks this way without needing the pieces that attach to the windshield.

It was a ‘76-‘77 package called “Special Decor.” It included the stripes, black grille, & body color top. No idea how many were made, but they were available in Wimbledon White, black, or yellow stripes.

I parked my GX (192”) next to one of the 4-door test mules. They were almost the same length including the spare, so I’d say the 189” includes the tire.

Understandably, not everyone is getting the exterior color they want. My plan is to buy a neutral color and wrap the exterior. I don't know how often, if ever, I will take the doors off, but I would want the look to be somewhat coordinated. I'm thinking carbonized grey, then do a wrap that is...
