Mostly offroad stuff. The black diamond gets the full vehicle steel bash plates, rock rails and metal rear bumper, as well as the rear locker and 4.46 axle ratio as standard. With the big bend you'd get a 4.27 axle ratio if you add the rear locker and only get the 4.46 if you spec the manual...
Honestly i'm shocked they didn't do it that way from the get...
It may have been popular, but it was a big mistake money wise to allow the basesquatch to exist. Until very recently, you couldn't even get a rear locker in anything less than a rubicon trim. Even now, to get just a rear locker...
if you tried to recreate the hoss 3.0 from new oem parts and pay labor to program the 3.0 rack i bet you'd be all of that number to make the big bend into a hoss 3.0 wildtrak.
Now that production is moving along and there aren't too many constraints, the real hold up for most people's orders from 3/23 is their dealer's allocations. If you want a bronco this year, find a dealer that will tell you for sure they have allocation left and place an order with them. I just...
If you have a VIN, you will get a 2023 model year bronco, barring some catastrophe such as a train full of dana axles derailing or something crazy. There is a possibility you might not get it until february next year due to some dirt mountain situation but that happening again is fairly low...
Ford's poor communication is what led me to find mine on the used market and get off the roller coaster ride of scheduled for production, then a month later, "sorry we didn't mean to tell you you're scheduled for production" and then magically its scheduled again but no email or tracker update...
No, it is part of the leather trimmed vinyl option. Also includes power seats.
Edit: there was some early marketing material that showed the rear armrest/cup holders included in the cloth seat package
I guess I was talking about the fully optioned versions of the two, pre-hoss3.0 the only difference being the leather and interior color and lack of swaybar disconnect on wildtrak. Add hoss3.0 as an option to badlands and there is nothing that comes on wildtrak that you can’t get on badlands and...
It does seem that from the changes over the last 18 months or so have worked to set apart the higher trims, before the Hoss 3.0 option, the badlands and wildtrak were only one item away from being basically the same thing (swaybar disconnect). I was kind of wondering if they would merge...
according to the build & price, there is still a roast/black leather option on the OBX trim so you *should* get what you ordered. The change does away with the cloth seat options.
After I found a used 22 with the options I wanted I went to my dealer to cancel my order and get my deposit back, when my salesman looked up my order it had my "fake" vin attached to it, with a production week of 6/26. So they were very happy to have another bronco to retail and I am done with...
there is a dealerwest of Dallas/Ft Worth that has three broncos that when I pulled up the window sticker all said “for export only” and we’re going to a dealer in Puerto Rico. I haven’t asked how they managed that but I feel like somethings squirrelly happened.
