I did but can honestly say that I had problems getting a nice shiny finish with their 2K clearcoat. I also had a very hard time getting it to dry as it always seemed tacky. I figured it might because of the humidity but never had the issue with the paint itself. Next time I will try someone...
I bought the paint here. https://www.automotivetouchup.com/touch-up-paint/ford/2022/bronco/
I took the letters out, sanded and then painted them. Sorry, I don't have any pictures of it without the letter stickers. I thought it looked great without the letters too but I had already gotten the...
Here is my HPR Badlands. I put on gloss black hockey striped and bronco script. Also painted my silver wheel trim rings to carbonized gray. Also painted my letters HPR and put a gloss black sticker over them.
Couldn't agree more. It needs some black to break up the color. My plans are to paint the grill and wheel rings gloss black and add the old school hockey stripe across the hood and sides. Hopefully that will be enough to bring some contrast.
Switched today from Eruption Green to HPR. I'm not real impressed how it looks on the Ranger but hoping it looks better on the Bronco. I think with tinted windows, Painted black beauty rings and a black heritage hockey stripe on the side, it will look great.
I haven't gotten a VIN yet but...
Here are several pictures I took at the reveal on Friday night and at the BN area on Saturday. There is quite a bit of difference in the shade from shade to sun. Yes, there is quite a bit of flake in the paint but not "bass boat glitter" amount of flake. I tried to take a picture of the flake...
I think it is this thing called picking your battles. A few months ago we bought her a new car and I told her to get what ever she wanted. She made a $30k choice which its a decent car but not what I would have picked. I'm looking at a $60k choice so financially, we both need to be on the same...
I love the contrast of black trim with Race Red. When my wife and I hit our local Ford Dealer to see some of the Bronco colors on other Fords, they had a Race Red F-150 there that looked great. It was a bright sunny day and when my wife saw it, it was a definite no for her. I will have to admit...
Do the end caps of the front and rear bumpers also change depending on stock or squatch? Looking at several pictures of each, it appears they do on some pictures and others I'm not so sure.
