Oof, so sorry you had to go through that. Glad you are ok, sad to hear someone did not... Glad to see our vehicles will hold up to that kind of force... Make sure to take care of yourself as well mentally. Sometimes the results can affect you later...
Man those bring back memories of the 80's for me! Didn't personally have the cool GT, but had a Supergoose with the laid back seat and extended handlebar mounts. (My roommates had a GT P/P and the other had a Redline).
I agree with you, however, it looks like those are not the "Bronco bolts" that are used for accessories... It looks to be a shallower bolt... I have no idea of course, but yeah hopefully it is a "Pre build" fastener and not something factory... That just looks cheap with the surface rust...
Checked to be sure, but yes the T/B is electronically controlled. BBK sells an aftermarket 65mm one for around $500... (F-150) https://www.americantrucks.com/bbk-65mm-throttle-body-27l-1517eco.html
The current Ranger 2.3l eco is behind the wheel well on the drivers side, have no idea if the Bronco will be in the same place..? The 2.7l Eco is on the top of the engine... Looks like you'll have to remove the skid plate to drain the oil for both tho...
