do you like blue or something?? /s

I don't follow
i was being sarcastic. it seems you like blue so much you decided to get blue seats and paint the floor pans blue as well.

Seats are black. The inside gets painted the same color as the outside on these tubs. It's just what they do. The dash, everything. The older models like mine don't have carpets or door panels either. I like it, but they aren't for everyone.

aaahhh ok

Beautiful, those guys have always had a following but they're really picking up in value it seems as of late.

Funny story re: Old School, "You're My Boy Blue". When I first joined the Army, in Basic the Drill started to try and pronounce my name, it ended up being "Blu, your name is BLU" which hey, that's a pretty cool nickname from a drill sergeant  Years later Old School came out, and when that scene happened I was like "awwww shi***********" :cautious: If i had a nickle for every time someone has shouted that at me I wouldn't be financing my 6G.

Gorgeous ride. If Toyota brought that back, I'd buy it in a minute.
Got that right! Updated drivetrain and some other creature comforts, and not be well over 100k like an Icon . . . say 50-60k? Sign me up as well

I think I heard that Toyota was sued by Jeep when this edition was introduced in the US.
IT is rumored that Toyota then named it FJ.
It is said that is stands for Foreign Jeep.
May be true or not, but I love it.

My first boss went to Salt Lake City in 1976 and bought one new just like that. I sometimes got to run errands in it. I always remembered how smooth it shifted. Thanks for the memories. I love that blue with the white top. I'm still thinking about what my new bronco is going to look like. I can't get that white top out of my head.

I won't say mine is smooth, lol - it's the 3 on the tree. Also, the top is silver (from PO) but does look white in most pictures. I think he went silver because white with the dark blue maybe doesn't look good? IDK, I don't hate the silver, but it does stand out as one of the things that makes it non-stock.
