“Lucky Green” 2022 Eruption Green 4dr Base Sasquatch build

So I’ve had this bronco since early April 2022 and have beeen constantly adding to it and modifying it since the day it came home. So why not start the build thread for it as something to look back on from where it began? It’s been absolutely a blast to own and drive and even around other bronco it completely turns heads.

I reserved my bronco July 15th 2020 carbonized grey was my first pick and was expecting it the following year, well needless to say ford had other plans and detours. So late 2021 Eruption green was introduced and I told my sales girl show me the green! My last rig was a 1999 supercharged 4Runner in imperial jade mica. So fate had other plans for me and carbonized grey was not one of them.

April 6th 2022 I got a phone call and texts and a FaceTime…

April 9th 2022

It’s home! First day with this rig!

Obviously the old rig didn’t get along they were fighting…

Less than an hour later. Couldn’t keep it stock.
I remember what my wife said to me in that moment. “ really? Less than an hour and it’s already getting modified?”


My reply….and then and then 🫡 and then

Then I picked up these rock rails from a good friend that pulled them off his first edition. Thanks Daniel!

And then tint happened

2 days later some stek ppf for the front end I’m definetly going back to have the doors and rear quarters done! And installed my arb twin compressor

Then ditch lights. And a new mini me Scx24 to match.

So I went to sema last year as per my annual company business trip and decided to stop by the Mackin Industries booth and see some of our friends Steve, Wakana who was back from Japan and my boy Stanley. I have had a few sets of te37s over the years in clouding my infamous set of TE37x that were beadlocked by OMF Performance.
I saw a new release of the TE37XT M spec that caught my eye instantly! So I asked them when! Pricing didn’t hit till 2022 and I locked my set in when price released in March 2022. Yes even before I had my Bronco in hand I’m buying wheels for it! Lead time 10-12 months so hopefully I’ll see them 2023.

I couldn’t wait that long so when my friends at Titan7 wheels cam out with the T-AK2 I scooped up a set

I love this color in the sun and all other lighting conditions.

I loved the signature headlights so I had to snag a set.

Then we got some dirt therapy. Took a drive to Santiago peak.

Tackled one of the biggest things driving me crazy in the cabin… the stereo. Replaced all the speakers with focal flax components such a huge difference but I know it would be since it was what I ran in my last rig.

And then one day I was thinking about what plate to get and a buddy said something that stuck we were talking about lucky charms of all things and 4 leaf clovers. So the name LCKYGRN was chosen.

I never really liked the base grill so I was always going to grill swap to the big bend grill. So when to opportunity arose I ended up swapping grills with a local big bend bronco owner.

Then the wheels finally arrived so I had our neighbors WR Tecknica install them.

Ever seen a bronco ufo hovering around a few million dollars off sports, super and hyper cars? Now you have hahaha

Then that week my JCR off-road tailgate table arrived so I installed it on the weekend but I’m a sucker for details so all the hardware was replaced with arp stainless hardware.

Well then what am I doing here?

Some rock lights… 18 of them to be exact. Profile pixel rock lights. 2 per wheel wheel, 3 down each side, 2 front and 2 rear.

Then my Bajarack finally came!!!!

But as I said before I’m a sucker for details so arp 12 pt stainless had to be used.
