Bought my 2021 used and it has the retro Bronco script badge on the side so the trim package is unclear. 2-dr 7 spd manual with the little sync screen and badlands features of sway bar disconnect and locking diffs. Stuff I’ve read shows badlands with the badge (obviously) and the bigger screen. VIN search inconclusive and the local dealership are morons. Any reason this couldn't be a badlands?

Badlands had the little screen, although 8 inches is plenty big, before Ford changed it.

If you have the six buttons (none missing) on the top of the dash, it's a BL/FE. Otherwise, it ain't.

Badlands can have the 12 inch screen if you have high/lux package.

But like previously stated if you have 6 buttons, you have a badlands. Also the badlands grill is specific to that trim, FE will have a gloss grill.

People change the grill all the time. Getting those buttons is a lot harder (I haven't seen anybody on 6g do it?).

OP, the FE is basically a fancier Badlands that was made in a small batch, so it's unlikely it's an FE. I think those have a stripe down the side like this one. They were really meant to be collectors items like Heritages, so it just seems really unlikely.

Huh, guess I was flim-flammed. Bamboozled! Hornswaggled, I tell ya! If Ford had told me ordering a manual transmission meant my Bronco wouldn't be a BL, well, then I'd still have done exactly what I did. Oh well, does that make it a BLL - BadLands Light, if it's not a real BadLands?

Looking at the window sticker would tell you everything you need to know

Can be most likely googled or easily looked up by any Ford dealer. If you bought it from a Ford dealer and they couldn't produce a window sticker I would run very far away from that dealer and never go back.

I’m starting to see a pattern with ford dealerships. The salesman at mine said it comes with remote start. I said “uhh even with a manual transmission?” “Yes” and yet. No remote start. Not even the button on the fob. You’re SELLING the car - you should know the basic stuff.

That is incorrect. The OP has a Manual so it will not have all of the buttons since the manual does not have Trail Turn Assist. Sounds like a Badlands with a Mid or Std package. Your interior accent trim would be yellow and you would have Sway Bar Disconnect, Front Locker, Rear Locker, Traction Control and Hazard along with one blank spot for your fry sauce on the left.
