I think they’re saving the Dec build dates to bump the folks that were originally scheduled in November. Over on the 11/7 build date thread there are a ton of folks saying they got bumped to 11/7 or 11/14 from Oct. Yet a lot of the folks originally scheduled for Nov haven’t been bumped more than a week yet. For instance I was 11/7 and bumped to 11/14 the day after getting scheduled. Since then I’ve seen so many Oct folks saying they are now 11/14. If all these Oct folks are now getting built in my build week, Ford’s gotta make room for them somehow. Probably means a lot of us Nov folks are soon getting bumped to Dec…

Soooo. I got the "Don't forget to update your order" email today, which was a little alarming. I had previously updated my order, and had received a confirmation email on 10/11 from FORD showing my update to 2023 with the one change I made. My order also show correctly in the backdoor link.

So, I called the line, and the rep checked and said I showed as Balanced Out for 2022, and Unschedule Clean for 2023.

Don't let this email be a cause for concern if everything else looks right with your order.
