Yes that is my understanding that they go through this process every Thursday for scheduling builds

"Web Based Dealer Ordering system" It is the ordering system that the dealers use to officially place the order with Ford. Once the order is placed they should be able to provide you with a DORA "Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement" as a summary or proof for you to verify everything is correct. Here is an example of one. I would ask the dealer for a copy and be sure to look at the Priority Code

Just got my build date of 12/20 and VIN#!

RSVP date was October 2020

Build is as follows:
Trim: Badlands
Color: Hot Pepper Red
Doors: 4
Top: Soft Top (purchasing the MIC as an add on accessory when available with the part department)
Engine: 2.7L
Sasquatch: Yes
Bumper: Modular
Packages: High and Tow

Congrats! That's awesome! By chance do you know how much FoMoCo will be charging for the MIC top as an accessory? Did the dealer give you that info? No way it's $695, right? This is exactly the approach I'm looking at taking on my Badlands but I'm a priority code 10 with a Sept 2020 reservation.

No.. the 695 is just the price difference between soft and MIC top. I am going to assume about 2200-2400 as a guess based on the general price range of the ones for the 4 door wrangler. Was hoping someone had a prototype showing up at SEMA but none of the pictures so far suggest that.

I spoke to my dealer today and mentioned getting a 12/20 build week with a VIN. He said, not sure how that is possible because the plant is closed during XMAS week. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that? Seems weird to hand out a lot of 12/20 build dates for people and be closed. Can anyone confirm?
