They should care. You are right, BUT they are still making money the way it is now, so they don't have to care.

We all want a Bronco pretty badly. Ford knows that. It doesn't have to change anything and most of us are still going to wait around and deal with it.
They have lost thousands of enthusiast many of which are now out of the Ford camp. That can and will cost them many millions of future dollars. A viable company does not treat their customers that badly. I was Senior Engineer for Komatsu mining corp. prior to retirement. If I treated our customers like that i would have been escorted out of the building by lunch. Short term profit is never as good as long term viability. I hope that someone from Ford upper management reads these posts.

I’m asking seriously, is there any point in waiting any more? I’m 436 days into waiting with as many constraints removed as I possibly can. It’s clear to me that I’ve picked the wrong dealer and I’m never going make it to the front of the queue this year and it’s going to cost me more next year. I am so disappointed.
I am 705 days in.

Like 08'-09' Ford is considered too big to fail( bailout ). The Bronco would be the first domestically owned manufacturer's vehicle that I was going to purchase since 07' ( Ford Escape ). However it appears that Stallantis will end up with my money

Ford didn't get a bailout, the only domestic automaker that didn't. They did get a federal loan which has been paid in full with interest.

Wish you the best! Ford isn't the only game in town, bronco is a beautiful design but extremely poor execution. To me they seem to only want to cater to the ev crowd and not really want to sell the Bronco.

Well alot of countries are going full electric by 20__ ( insert year here ) Ford is going to have to focus on EVs. After all the supply constraints are over, I believe that most manufacturers will keep supply low. They save money by not having to offer substantial rebates to entice buyers, people are waiting in line( evident on this forum with " xxx days and no vin" posts ) to buy their products. I don't hate Ford, I'm indifferent to them as a company, but I gave myself a limit to how much time I would wait for my Bronco to get scheduled ( currently Aug 15 ) when I get the call/ email to reorder a 23', I'll go to the dealer retrieve my deposit and go across the street and order my next vehicle.

I waited 564 days for mine.
It’s pretty badass.

I agree 100%. I have no idea how Ford can believe what they are doing currently is a sound business practice.

I used to be big into Fords. Shoot, My whole family is/was, but not so much any more. It's not just the Bronco fiasco, but that certainly is a big factor.

You should delete this before others start roasting you. This is referring to scheduling of new builds not production of scheduled builds.
But you quoted his post, solidifying it’s existence. Shame shame!
