Yeah, tube doors are decorations.

If anyone is worried about protection, then keep your doors on.

That's why all will say (even oem) "offroad use only".

You're assuming risk going doorless, and tube doors are just to keep you from falling out off road, definitely not for high impacts or collisions.

Finally got to install on the Bronco now that there is a break in the rain.
Question for others...did you have any issues with the rubber bump stops being too long? I had to remove in order to be able to latch the doors.
I feel like there is a solution prob right in front of me and maybe I am just too sleep deprived at the moment to see it, but if anyone has a thought I appreciate it.

Yes, I cut off about a 1/8”-1/4”, and now they fit perfectly.

Great thread. I am a little late to this party but was all set to order the Mabett tube doors but noticed there are two versions on Amazon... the earlier Molle version (top photo) indicates it is out of stock and may not return. Sadly I prefer this version.

Anyone know if the Molle Panel version has been fully replaced with the non Molle panel model (shown at bottom)? Maybel Mabett is making a new Molle version or possibly an option to buy the Molle panel to fit the current one.

Yes, the new ones have replaced the old ones.

Hi, I recorded this video, and the latch mechanisms arrived preassembled for me with this set, so that's why I didn't record the assembly of them. I wasn't aware that the sets of doors may come with the latches unassembled.
