I hate to say it, but I work with a lot of companies HQ’d in the US but forced to deal with Canadian customers through their Canadian daughter companies… and there is a world of difference when it comes to corporate cultures.

American companies want to fight for your business; to demonstrate to you why they are the right company to deal with. The Canadians on the other hand don’t seem to give a flying f*ck about their customers. “You’re lucky to be doing business with them”, seems to be the attitude.

Sucks, but true. Corporate culture in Canada blows.

Maybe if Canada waived import taxes and paid for shipping Ford would send it.

Ship it usps, learned that the hard way with ups charging some astronomical “brokerage” fee that was equal to or more than the product I brought across the border.
