Please help me score brownie points with my wife - would it be feasible to transport a Christmas tree on the soft top?:)

Lack of mount points seems like it would make it a challenge. If you do it anyway, you might consider using some plastic or tarp to keep sap off the cloth.

Iโ€™d mount it to the hood before the soft top.

I canโ€™t understand why you would risk a puncture of a roof that will be a bitch to replace. Just put it inside with a bag over the stump

just buy a Curt hitch and the platform basket to put on it and then mount the tree standing up and tie off to the hinges or spare tire. Go slow if it is a big tree, or loosen softtop and tie off to roll bars and go as fast as you want.

Funny thing. Having ordered a Bronco with a soft top, though I really wanted a hard top, I've had it on my mind what to do with the soft top once I get an aftermarket hard top.

Threads like this give me hope that there will be someone who will want to buy my soft top from me when I no longer need it.

If you get the "hidden" crossbars and make the tree run with the top all the way down......

I forget the name but they mount under the roof and are available when you drop the top
