I've ordered the standard Ford Bronco mud flaps. I'm tired of my tires throwing up crap on the running boards and the rear bumper. I saw pics of the flaps with holes cut in it and I don't think I like that. I'm going to take the Bronco into a shop and have it done.I'm thinking the same, to have someone cut off the ends of my Ford running boards so the Ford mud flaps can be installed. I would think this would be a cheaper option than buying a new set of running boards or paying 700 buck for mud flaps, right? Let us know if you decide to have them cut!
I'm going to do one of 3 things:
1. Cut the running board an inch.
2. Move the running boards back an inch.
3. Swap the drivers side with the passenger side running boards. I saw a mention of this as a solution and I'm looking for more feedback. Are the mounting locations when reversed line up but move the running board back about an inch?
If anyone has any suggestions to help, they would be welcomed.
