Rears installed, I believe I ordered the wrong fronts (I ordered without rock rails, when I needed with) I am think of making them work till I get my rockslide engineering steps in. They definitely are needed. 36 hours into ownership and I drove in the rain yesterday. You can see all the road grit shot up the doors.. it's going to be like sand paper after a bit.

Awesome thanks for the pictures! Did they go smoothly? Maybe you lucked out with buying fronts w/o rock rails if you are getting aftermarket rock slide steps the ones you got will probably work better and won’t have a hole in them for no reason. I’m afraid I’m going to want different slider/steps and be stuck with holes in my Mudflaps or having to buy another front set.

I tightened the tow hook and left the bracket somewhat loose, I set my digital level on the rear lip and then drilled for the upper hole. The end cap moves around a bit,
So you have to hold it down while you lift the flap. I didn't find clamping it very helpful. I just held it in place and drilled. I got the drivers spot on, but the passenger is about .5 degrees low on the outside, which upsets my OCD. I don't know how you get it with just a bubble level

I did email Gatorback to see if I could purchase the uppers separately. It looks like it will flex around the rock rail anyways and it would probably offer better protection.

They look good. It looks like you used the bigger screws for the drilled holes did you also use the back plate that came with it? I thought that back plate was only going to work with the smaller screws that honestly seem too small and I don’t want to use.

Yes bigger screws with the attached washers. The instructions are a bit confusing- yes I have a steel bumper, but I have plastic end caps for SAS flares, no there were not pre drilled holes. I right angle drill would have been nice, but not totall necessary.

I think to do the fronts, I am going to take the wheels off.

The fronts were also doable without removing the wheels and tires cause you can turn them out of the way

Just finished the fronts today, rears are a no go. Dremel cut out for rock rails.

EDIT: - nevermind, seems these don't work with my Badsquatch, judging from later posts in this thread.
If they do (or any others do) I'd appreciate a link though. Thx!

They work with squatch and non squatchπŸ‘
Thanks. SO as an example on the REAR ones: The Sasquatch bumper has that extra add on to make it wider....the splash guard goes out to it's outer edge. The non-Squatch does not have that extra addition to the bumper....so for the non-Squatch I assume the mud guard is just mounted further inward? I can see how that would work. Thank you. They look great and really, for now, the best option out there.

Looks really good I don’t like how you have to drill into the steel rear bumper though but these are the only option so far

Thanks! I’m warming up to the idea of these on my CO BL. Did you have the dealer install them? Do you have any overall pics with the flaps installed?

You only have to drill 2 small holes in the plastic cap on the inside that you would never see if you took them off or you could get new plastic caps if you wanted to also
