The Race of Kings main event is a long day, but it’s a great presentation from the last 3-4 years and it’s actually full of drama. No, I don’t watch the full 11 hours or so, but a good bit of it and the qualifying next Wed-Fri are defiantly worth checking in on it. Last year Loren Healy in his Bronco did the “Full Send:“ down the rock wall of Chocolate Thunder in qualifying which was epic!

Going to be lots of cheap beers most of next week through Saturday! Hot Damn!

This year qualifying starts at the base of chocolate thunder and goes up.


For those that do not know what chocolate thunder is.

Go to YouTube and under the kingofthehammers go to the live section.

There you will find king if the motos race 2.

Watch the start of that. Standing start and you can watch a hundred bikes funnel down to a 3 or 4 path trail. Talk about traffic

It is carnage central. Dave Cole said, I bet there are some who don't make it 100 ft in qualifying.
