Bronco April 2022 Sales & Production Highlights

• Bronco Sales: 13,113 vehicles. Sales (YTD): 36,686 vehicles.
  • April 2022 sales represent a 34.4% increase from March 2022.
• Bronco Production: 12,237 vehicles. Production (YTD): 48,590 vehicles.
  • April 2022 production represents a -17.5% decrease from March 2022.
• Ford brand SUVs achieved a new April monthly sales record. Bronco and Bronco family (including Bronco Sport) hit their best sales results since launch. Ford’s newest vehicles continue to conquest at the high rate of 70 percent.
• Buyers of Ford’s newest vehicles are customizing them at unprecedented rates; for the first-quarter, winches and off-road lighting kits continue to be among the most popular for Bronco customers, while Maverick owners are choosing Ford lighting kits for their truck beds.

How many of those sold were 2021 models pushed out at the end of Q1. How many trucks were added to the holding lots, which is probably why produced numbers haven't yet been released?

Release of the production numbers usually lags a few days. We'll probably never learn the MY21/MY22 balance until it no longer matters and we're on 8G.

Trying to capture all these reports, so far by my tally there has been 90,915 produced through March '22 (includes ~750 Jan '21- Apr'21), and 71,711 sold through Apr '22

Those are Ford's bread and butter vehicle. I was a butthair away from giving up on Bronco and ordering one until I got scheduled this last run. I think I spent more time on F150 BnP than anything else. I just hate I can't fit one in garage or afford a Raptor, lol.

I got rid of my 19 F150 for a reservation number lol. I had a SCREW 6.5, I could fit it in my garage by about 2". Usually though I just parked it outside.

Your right the Bronco is Ford's "redheaded stepchild". They don't want to talk about them, let alone care about them...

Those are the golden questions that nobody outside of Ford knows...

I don't think folks understand. Ford sells anywhere from 750K - 1 million F150s each year. Also, the F150 has the highest profit margin for Ford.

So if there is a question where chips should go then that is an easy decision for Ford.

Ford's goal is to sell 200K broncos each year to match the Wrangler. below are wrangler numbers for the last 4 complete years.

I see that Ford sales were down over 10% . Just maybe, their sales would up 10% if they would just deliver the ones that have been awaiting shipment weeks after weeks ? What does production and constraints have to do with shipping

How many reservations have been filled so far?

When we've got evidence of people walking in off the street at big city/large volume dealers and being able to order and take delivery of Broncos long before reservation holders get theirs I don't know if we'll ever be able to tease out where the reservations were filled from the production numbers.
