I was going to draft a post almost identical to yours highlighting many of the same issues. Don't forget Ford employees left testing equipment attached to the OBD plug and spare/random parts left in the vehicle. I also have a Wildtrak on order and I'm in discussions with Toyota and wife to cancel it and get a 4 runner. At age 55, I just retired and this would have been my first American car.

I am a retired executive from a Fortune 500 company where I oversaw all kinds of production in my lifetime. I can tell you right up front this is almost purely a leadership issue at Ford. Lack of accountability on their work force and insufficient management controls (which include QA/QC). It's just embarrassing some of the things that are being delivered ad their disastrous rollout. SMH
I hear you loud and clear.

No!!! I missed/forgot reading about that. What a shame.
The list is pretty exhaustive, the fact that you took your time to share your concerns to Ford on behalf of all of us is truly amazing and I really appreciate it. You went above and beyond for us enthusiasts. Now if they cancel scheduling for quality control corrections, I might be coming to your house for the holidays to drive your ride that is being built.;)

@Cat How much would it cost me to have you address the Dirt Mountain situation with the Food executives? I could pay you with stickers, a hammock and/or a flag. Name your price!
Well, the, "Food executives", might like a pineapple 🍕. <devilish grin>

I just don't understand how the mismatched seats did not get seen
Especially the one with the driver seat that had different top and bottom.
I just can't imagine the person who installed that, did not notice.
That's just a serious IDGAF

Thank you for doing this. I hope someone starts addressing these issues. I get it's the first year and covid, but some of the things that have happened to people have nothing to do with all that. Thanks!

If the warranty claims from any auto manufacturer were released to the public everyone would be shocked.
Yes.
There's nothing about a 2 door Bronco built on a Ranger platform that scares me.
If there are issues, either Ford (or I) will fix them.
I'm happy to buy an American-made vehicle (as per my F250, Mustang and FoST) and truly appreciate the hard work being done to produce an affordable and capable vehicle.

Sometimes the executives use these failures as a hammer to pummel the leadership team they deprived of resources, gave one way unrealistic goals and failed to support.
Hammer away if it keeps garbage from rolling off the line.

I feel like maybe I should clarify: I was not casting doubt on there possibly being issues with the 2.7, it's just not something I have seen where I work. I just wonder if it's not a specific lot of engines or a specific VIN range.

Well said. Launching a new vehicle is an extremely difficult task. Throw in an entirely new nightshift workforce coupled with insane supply chain issues and government imposed covid protocols only adds nitroglycerin to a dumpster fire. There are plenty of leadership questions around not following the PAPP process (MIC top to start with) but most of the plant controllable QC issues noted on this forum are lower than expected for the circumstances MAP has gone thru.

Pretty simple. Weed is legal in MI.
