I got a build date this morning, but here is the interesting part:

- I ordered 2/9/22
- 4-Door Outer Banks MIC SAS High Cactus Gray
- Told my dealer to cancel it 3 weeks ago and received my $1,000 deposit back. I ended up buying a very similar build to mine 7 months ago that I found locally, which is why I cancelled.
- Received my build email this morning (see image) that is entirely different than what my order was.
- So I'm guessing even though I told my dealer to cancel my order and I got my deposit back, they kept it in the system and actually re-configured it to something they wanted. So I assume it's their's now. Not that I want it, just really interesting what they did. I guess it makes sense, because they didn't make me sign anything to cancel it. Just an email of me telling them to.

Anyone else have a similar scenario like this?

For whatever it's worth - unless you *need* ACC I think Lux is really overpriced for what you get. As for SAS - there are much better looking aftermarket wheels (just my personal opinion). Not for everyone but I'm doing an all black build and am probably getting Black Rhino Warthog wheels with 35" KO2s or Mickey Thompson Baja A/T.

But it really depends on your build. I already have a Badlands ordered so the SAS wasn't such a great deal for me (for the offroading/overlanding I'm planning on doing). If you're anything other than a Wildtrak or Badlands and you still can I'd seriously consider adding SAS back on (assuming your dealer has the necessary allocations)
This is very true. Everything in LUX is generally worthless. Audio, you can get a far better system for around $1000. Wireless charging at best holds a charge if it doesn't get dislodged, garage door opener easily solved, voice activated navigation I never use even as a tech geek

But ACC is non-negotiable for me and would not only be extremely expensive to retrofit would potentially be super unsafe. I wish it had stop and go but damn it completely changes rush hour traffic for me. Heated steering wheel is awesome too. Forscan can change temp if you feel it's not warm enough.

I'm swapping the suspension with full dirt logic 2.5 remote resi coilovers once my new bronco arrives. Did I waste $2200 buying SAS for basically just larger flares, a sasquatch easter egg badge, and warrantied 4.7 gears? Probably. I'll use the gears with my 37s and am in a financial position to where I didn't need to cut costs, but if I needed to badlands non-sas for sure the way to go. Resell should hopefully help with SAS in the future.

Best advise I can give yous is go to Ford.com. Set up an account and you can track your order there. It is about the same as tracking from the other places. You will need your order number from the dealer and your VIN. Just remember the wheels at Ford grind slow, updates are slow. I had a blend date of 3/6, was built on 3/7, then had a delivery of April 7th, then 2 weeks later changed to 3/16. Still says 3/16 and no Bronco yet.

I check almost daily and it does not update very often. It took a few days after my e-mail of production to get some info in the tracker, so just be patient it will populate. The biggest hurdle in my eyes is getting that production date. Once you have that things will proceed, just slowly. 😁

Wow so many people with SAS and LUX are getting their confirmation email
I shouldn't have switched....
Ya, feeling like Ford lied about the constraints - still got $2500 for the lie. All these WildTrak orders popping off like - "What constraints?".

ACC is less than $1000 to retrofit.

Congrats to everyone getting scheduled today! Looks like they're squeezing out the last of the constrained orders.

Excuse me if I missed it, but were there any Heritage folks scheduled today?
