Was really hoping this was going to be cleaned up a bit more for production, but oh well.

After the initial WTF, I also quickly noticed the honeycomb structure of the hood. Interesting look and I wonder what the reason was for this design. Seem like it should add some structural integrity, but curious why that would have been necessary. Perhaps a sound-deadening function to it as well, but by all accounts there's not a lot of sound to deaden from this engine.

The honeycomb is so that the murder hornets feel at home. You didn't think that 2020 would go away so easily did you? It's like Michael freakin' Myers.

I normally bleed ford blue. But the engine compartment looks like a bowl of spaghetti was dumped into the engine compartment. I am embarrassed for Ford. When I first saw this Mess several months ago I assumed that it was the prototype and the production models would be cleaned up at least partly.
