Wondering the same thing! Not sure unless the ones that have fogs will have and extra button near the headlamp buttons.Where does the fog light switch live?
I have it on my Focus RS. As others have mentioned, engine fires right back up when you clutch in, so it's pretty much a non-issue. I even prefer it, you get some nice quiet zen when sitting at a stop light. Pretty much only turn it off in real bad stop+go traffic. They can't install an A.S.S. feature on a manual transmission correct?
I only touch the climate controls to turn defrost on or off. Auto actually does pretty good most of the time. It will even delay turning on the blower until there is some heat in the engine, so you don't get hit with a polar vortex right at start-up.I really like the base temperature controls better than the dual-zone. The basic one looks super functional, straightforward and easy to use while driving. I think I'll be fishing around for the right button on the dual-zone. Oh well, I'm sure at some point it'll be second nature.
Good insight, thank you.I have it on my Focus RS. As others have mentioned, engine fires right back up when you clutch in, so it's pretty much a non-issue. I even prefer it, you get some nice quiet zen when sitting at a stop light. Pretty much only turn it off in real bad stop+go traffic.
Plenty of people complained about it on the RS forums too though.
"Every time I get in, the first thing I do is turn off stability control, set it to race mode, and disable stop/start..."
Like, we get it, you're speed racer, and you can drive sooo much better than everyone else. Sorry the engine is trying to save some fuel.

Actually its dehumidifying the air in the cabin in addition to cooling it.I haven't read all the pages but, so if nobody has answered. It usually activates the recirculation so that you are re-cooling cooled inside air, vs cooling hot outside air.
The readout of which zone might be on the 12" screen. Or maybe it is on the digital temp indicatorGuess I have nothing better to do than stare at these pics. Looking at the base vs upgraded climate controls.
On base it's obvious how to adjust where the air is coming from - a button with an indicator for each (defrost, head, feet).
Not seeing how to adjust between these areas on the upgraded controls. There's the small bit left of center that has the usual icon, but it's not clear if it's a button. Even if it is, doesn't look like there are any indicator LEDs to tell you which vents are active. (Obviously you can just hold your hand in front of the vent, but that seems odd when everything else has an indicator light.)
Been a while since I've owned a Ford, so forgive me if this is obvious to others.

It would be on the inside of the round headlight knob.Wondering the same thing! Not sure unless the ones that have fogs will have and extra button near the headlamp buttons.
Awww yes! I bet you are correct! It would be on the inside of the round headlight knob.
Basically turns the knob into a big button you would push to activate the fogs.
