Yea I have it and It does limit at about 90 degrees. The only thing I'd caution is this strut is much stronger and swings the door open with a bit too much force, especially with no weight on the door. I worry it may bend the bracket it's attached to if you're not paying attention.

The factory tailgate uses a dampener so the gas strut will defiantly open the door much differently than before. When the strut is brand new it opens the faster and will more ease than it will when broken in. If its a concern we have had good results removing the nitrogen charge to make it operate much like the stock door while still limiting the angle to protect the light...
