6th gen (U725) Bronco deliveries are just recently underway and we're still seeing teething and supply issues, but we're here to share a look ahead with info that we've just learned about the timing of the 6th gen refresh, end of production, and timing of the 7th gen Bronco!

6th Gen (U725) Bronco Refresh / Update
  • Mid-2022 - Bronco Raptor launch
  • Q4 2024 -- Bronco MCA (Mid Cycle Action) refresh enters production - as a 2025 Model year

6th Gen (U725) Bronco End of Production
  • 2028 - End of Production for 6th gen (U725) Bronco

7th Gen Bronco
  • To be built on brand new architecture.
  • Not yet in development or even in the whiteboard phase.
  • Comes earliest as 2029 Model Year - 2030 Model Year

**Dates are current as of Sept 2021. As usual, timing is subject to change due to production/market conditions.

Wow that’s a lot of info talks about refresh already and the majority of us still don’t have a bronco. It’s bound to happen though with a refresh or tweak what’s not working out

Something tells me we won't be putting petrol in the 7g Broncos.

so in about 8 years and bronco 7g forum will be created? or will the bronco 6g name be adjusted?
At current fill rate it will take until that refresh to satisfy just initial 6G reservations. ( I hate to laugh out loud since there might be some truth to that at least regarding painted tops)

Agreed. 2030 seems to be the date where all New design models for sale better be Electric. Older models will be able to soldier on with petrol until 2035.

Good to know I've got 10 years until mine is the old model.

New car development never stops. They're probably pretty close to finalizing the design of the refresh already.

Maybe they'll have caught up with the backlog of reservations by the time the refreshed model starts arriving at dealers. I wouldn't hold my breath, though.

Sounds like a long ways off but we know the 6th Gen Bronco was in development as of 2015, here we are six years later, trucks still not on lots yet. Sounds like Ford is giving themselves enough lead time for a smoother rollout next time around. It's good to know that we won't be seeing a refresh for another three years though, that's been lingering in my mind as I see the current wait times for orders.

Wow, 99.9998% of order holders probably haven’t received their Bronco and we’re already worried about 7th Gen? Ugh.

So if I place a order now for a first edition, will I receive it by then.
