Curious about color availability for the MY 2022. We are getting pushed to 22 on account of this. If our color isn’t available, we may have to go MIC. Which blows.
What a bunch of clowns.

Great point, definitely a question to ask. I IMAGINE it means you’ll pay the same base MSRP for whatever vehicle you choose and your 2021 option packages will not change in price. Anything new for 22’ will be whatever the cost is for new reservations holders.Curious if this price protection applies to only your existing build or if you are still protected if you opt to change things up with some 22 options - like forthcoming green paint.
In MY21. Can push a FE to 22 to get the Mod top.FFS guys...
The Carbonized gray molded-in-color (MIC) roof is now the only roof option for First Edition and WildTrak Broncos (per Ford email)
The dealer communication indicated that it applies to orders and reservations before 3/19. (Anyone making a reservation after may have higher pricing?) Existing reservation holders don't have a current build so they will only be choosing MY22 options, but still fall under the price protection umbrella.Curious if this price protection applies to only your existing build or if you are still protected if you opt to change things up with some 22 options - like forthcoming green paint.
You were absolutely not one of those people. Quoted you, but wasn't directed at you as it was a tangential point.I wasn't one of those people, but okay. I'm not fuming about it or anything. Just wondering if Ford is really having THAT much of a problem. The apparent answer is "yes".
p.s. I'm still gonna call my Bronco "Rick". And I'll still go have a beer with you.
I find it hard to believe that they just learned this info. God forbid they don't screw things up more by telling everyone after they've placed their orders.Whoa! That's actually big news!
Seems like Ford should have put that out there before March 19th.
