Good summary. It really does put those set on the Mod top in a bad situation.Here are the issues with taking a MIC top with the hope of getting a MOD top later:
- $3700 ($1895 + $495 + $1310 (265K FordPass points)) won't come close to paying for a MOD top plus shipping from the Parts Department
- Since soft top equipped Broncos don't come with the necessary hookups for the hard top demand for resell MIC tops is probably close to NIL
- Even if one wants to order a MOD top from the Parts Department, supplier constraints mean it will probably be years before they can even get their hands on one
