How about a a fender badge for 600+ club?Do I smell an achievement patch or shirt design for this milestone?
No executives at Ford motor company caresFor many of us, today is Day 600 since we placed our reservations on July 13, 2020 and we are still waiting for our Broncos.
Just wanted to document that.
That is all.
This helps. To try and help, from July 13, 2020 to approximately April 13, 2021 was really non-countable days. Those approximately 270 days drops your count down to 330.
Trying to remember my research on the weekly production capacity of MAP from 18 months ago, I think a reasonable monthly production of vehicles from MAP is on the order of 20,000, split with Ranger production, so estimate 12,000 Broncos per month.
Rumors were Ford took in about 125,000 real Bronco orders from the initial reveal event, with possibly 100,000 orders from the first few days of and after July 13, 2021. That 100,000 units is about 8.5 months of production, not accounting for weekends and holidays. Factor in where you might fall within those 250 days, say the middle, takes your 330 day wait down to 205 days.
That's again, not considering just business days to take out weekends and holidays, which bumps the 205 back up by 30% or so. Then factor in for COVID.
Maybe that is a better way to look at it and manage your expectations.

Just a painful reminder of how inept Ford is and how we cannot give up hope for our new Bronco! For many of us, today is Day 600 since we placed our reservations on July 13, 2020 and we are still waiting for our Broncos.

Our whole society is geared towards always blaming someone or something else. Any problem is merely a question mark in search of a solution.
