Definitely a 100a. Looks more like a 16’. That’s still 3000# empty. More importantly that’s a 400# tongue weight empty.
Even with no passengers or luggage the rear suspension doesn’t seem to be sagging much
Maybe and this is just speculating they installed heavier springs for testing!!!

Its going to be a pathetic 3500lb in an “SUV”.
The Bronco is an off road specialist though . If you want a SUV that tows more , there are other options .

It would be awesome if Ford was sandbagging the whole time and the final tow numbers are much higher
The tow numbers probably reflect the short wheelbase - even with electronics you can't keep up with it in the western wind. Ten miles to the equipment rental place you could white knuckle cheat it.

"Class is Medium Traditional Utility " from Ford. Also, look at the SAE standard that's used to determine GCWR. It has variables that a short wheel base off-road capable vehicle will just naturally suck at like the amount of allowable sway when braking and timed reverse launches up a steep (like 25% I think?) incline with the weight to be certified which might also have to be on that same 100 degree day that the Dam Run has to be accomplished. It sucks for the people buying an off-road capable vehicle to misuse as a tow rig, but it ensures reliable comparisons and surety that you can tow up to that GCWR which includes two 150lb people.

Or it is a crack in the windshield. If they were that sloppy for the one pic, I'd expect more for the other two.

Nah... it's clearly a dead pigeon with a piece of string or rope tied to its leg.

If I say I work for the Audobon society, you'll just have to accept it as fact that tgis is a pigeon. 🐦 🐦 🐦

Please point me to the one that I can take the doors and/or roof off of?

or honestly one that looks decent. hard body lines. some actual style. all the rest look like their clones in the same vehicle class.

Found this on Facebook. Just wanted to post the picture so you can see what it looks like when the bronco four-door is towing a large trailer.
