You people not liking the Cactus Gray are in need of some mental attention. :D

I'm warming to these steel wheels because I can have them painted Cactus Gray and put a nice chrome hubcap on them! (y)

I get the function part of it, I really do but other than that can someone please explain why you guys like the steelies so much? I know since I come from mustang land I like some show with my go, and I get you don't need fancy wheels on a trail but I just dont get it. Is it just one of those things I'm not gonna get lol?

Especially on cactus grey these are terrible, reminds me of the family truckster after the hub caps get stolen
I love the steelies... so much that I think I’m going to swap out for a set of them on my BL.

To be clear; I don’t prefer the steelies because I’m taking this thing into the Sahara where I’ll need to find a local village that can pound and weld my rim back into shape....

For me it’s still all about esthetics. I like the utilitarian, unapologetic form-follows-function look. Kind of a “get out of my way, I’ve got a job to do” vibe while everyone else is standing around at cars and coffee competing over how rare their particular corvette build is.

Hopefully someone comes up with a way to attach hub caps to the stock steelies. I think the steelies of yesteryear used to have tabs that the hub caps clipped onto. I don’t think that the stock Bronco steelies have that ability.

I don't have too many styling complaints, and I hate to point it out if you haven't noticed, but that back-up camera really does stick out pretty far. Looks a little goofy.

I'll be looking into making a spacer or something to bump the wheel out a bit so my BD doesn't have a wheel boner.
With a cover over it, you'll see just the camera.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but it looks like the silver broncos at the center of the BD steelies are on plastic pieces that attach under the lug nuts, so maybe a hub cap can fit this way as well.

Also noticed it's got #15 on it. That's an early build so I wouldn't judge that MIC to hard! They've came along way now. Being 15 though wonder where that bad boy has been hiding!
Exactly this, #15 is a looooooong time ago in production time. Funny watching people making decisions based on it, lol. It is getting ridiculous around here.
