Yes there is a hold. Expected ETA is 7/31/22.

Blend date: 1/25
First eta was end of March. Second eta April 22-28. Third eta May 22-29. Now Aug 1-7. On chip hold since January/ in production.

My dealer is across from MAP I sure hope I don't have to wait for weeks to have shipped !! Who knows when it will be built.........

August 4th now. Talked to my dealer and he gave me the bad news. If it goes that long that would be 6 months on ice mountain. Poor thing probably has elevation sickness by now.

So I’ll be in Detroit here in a couple of weeks at a big automation trade show. There should be some engineers from MAP there. If I can corner some and get them to share any details I’ll let the group know lol

Good luck! I’d love to hear what they say. I myself forgot to ask if it was due to a new kind of delay (windshield, chip again, shipping, et al.).

I got pushed out also and it just says plant hold. Whatever that means.

It’s not just ford, I check all the different manufacturers dealers within 200 miles of where I live. They have about 5-10 new vehicles on average. Average order wait times from 4-6 months. The cars and trucks at my local Chevy dealer are for sale with parts missing for heated seats and navigation systems, says they will install them when available. Hang in there people, crazy times right now.

What is just inexcusable is not sending out official updates when you tell someone their vehicle is started production then change the date by now 8 months. That is just a dick move. At least be open with people and they may not like it much more but they wouldn’t feel forgotten.

Crazy times doesn't excuse building identical models and prioritizing shipping them over units they've had in their holding lot for months.

This is it. I think all of us would be more understanding if Ford weren't building and shipping Broncos that are identical to ones sitting in the lot.

My friend has these wheels - Fuel Rebel 6 in 20". Not sure which Good Year tires those are.
