Ohh can you share the part you're using for the plate relocation? Thank youuu.yup, i just checked and my vehicle is affected and says my VIN status for the recall is "incomplete" so i will either sit at the rail yard here until ford fixes it, or it will get delivered and i will have to wait for my dealer to fix it. i plan on going to the dealership on friday to drop off my front license plate relocation part and discuss tint and stuff with them. will add this to the list of what to discuss with them and will let you guys know what they say.
Not that I was told. Build date was June 9th.No recall?
Just checked the Vin on the recall site and no recall. Phew!!!Not that I was told. Build date was June 9th.
Ya you are way outside the range 12/8/21 to 4/12/22. Check the title of this thread. Happy for ya, and jealous!Just checked the Vin on the recall site and no recall. Phew!!!
So…I saw that there’s a windshield recall out there. Just checked my VIN at https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls and I’m part of it.
I wonder if this is why my EDD jumped from 7/3 to 7/27. I’m still awaiting shipment so I guess it’s just a question of, will they fix it before shipping or will they have the dealerships make the repairs? Seems like its a bit of a process to remove the adhesive, prep and prime the surface, re-apply adhesive, and recalibrate the safety systems. (Three days to fix?) I’ve decided I’m never getting this particular Bronco.
DAMNIT! That sucks I'm so sorry that happened to you! Hopefully the other driver was insured and you can get this fixed quickly. I hope the shoulder and neck pain subside soon as well.Unfortunately I’m going to start off my Fourth of July weekend on a bad note, this morning when driving out from work early some young person 17-year-old wasn’t paying attention to what they were doing while driving and hit my beautiful bronco. Sidenote nobody was hurt but I’m beginning to have shoulder pain and neck pains.
Seems like the recall will be fixed at the dealer and not MAPSadly, I checked and my Bronco that is awaiting shipment as of today IS on the VIN list and impacted by the recall.
That is my understanding as well.Seems like the recall will be fixed at the dealer and not MAP
It states so in the NHTSA look up:That is my understanding as well.
