So thought I took the moment to to vent a little on Twitter.

Good point. It’s like this I moved most of my 401k to tesla in 2020 and tripled it. More than a few broncos. I am a engineer and love Elons brilliance. My daughter has a Tesla but I’m not ready yet. The engineering design on the bronco is special. Don’t like fords management or manufacturing. Way behind.

I’ve seen that as well. Ultimately I’m just not sure I can justify discarding perfectly good tires…just not important enough to me. Most likely I’ll ride these and when the time comes to replace them, do so with something cooler.

My son asked me if I would replace my tires like I did on my F-150 back in 2006. I told him I wasted those tires by doing that so I'm waiting til I put at least 30,000 miles on them before finding larger size like I like. They sat in my shed for like 5 years until his best friend asked if he could have them since his F-150 wheels and tires were looking really "tired'!

You know . I grew up thinking Ford was a trash company . All their vehicles been since I remember. Ford used to be top of the world but last decade they been left out in the dirt. Their trucks aren't even the best in the market in terms of quality anymore. I never would have thought in a million years my first brand new out of college vehicle would be a Ford ! But when I saw the remake of the bronco I knew I had to have it. Being in college I thought a Tesla would be my first car out of college . And now looking back I wish It would have . This bronco been a headache since last year when my built week kept getting pushed and now these last few months I regret reserving this vehicle. I swear the day I get my bronco it better not shit on me and die. I will prob die from a heart attack in my mid 20's . @Ford Motor Company tell Jim Farley his mom a nice lady but her son ain't and I hope he stubs his toe everyday till he croaks

I've been trying to irritate him enough to block me, but no such luck yet. I thought repeatedly calling him an intern might do it.

Then it dawned on me that maybe he IS an intern. Would explain a lot.

I agree it doesn’t make sense but it does. It keeps the line moving but not really producing anything capable of sale.

alright… got some TERRIBLE but HONEST (finally) news from my dealership. spoke to a manager. she told me the inventory guy confirmed my bronco is still at MAP. she’s hoping next week since it’s my EDD week, they will change the dates (but who knows). she also told me it typically takes AT LEAST 4 weeks to get to the dealership once built. so i will be getting my bronco no earlier than June…….. I’M PISSED & will be asking my dealership to reimburse me for something or give me something for the inconvenience, especially because i was told last week by the “bronco specialist” that i could still get it by my EDD when i’m still on chip hold the week before…he clearly knew that wasn’t gonna happen!
y’all were right, we won’t be getting our broncos until june or july… FML.

Ughhh Im 1/17 build and haven’t been on here in a while. I received mine 3/5, sooo pissed some of you are still waiting. All I’ll say is don’t give up, they’re beyond worth it. Love it more every week and exceeds expectations!

Enough with the ugly…wanted to share a good experience I had today. Trying to brighten the mood and take our minds of the shitshow.


It just seemed appropriate to happen today. Today, the day I drop into double digits until I step off the fire engine one last time.
I was getting a haircut and had just gotten out of the chair and walked up to the register to pay when a guy pushed a phone in front of me and asked if the picture on the screen was me. Took me half a second to realize, yes, it was me. The guy was a bit emotional and I was feeling a smidge awkward at first. He then goes on to fill in the blanks… I delivered his baby girl in the foyer of his house. He was out of town for a family emergency when his wife called 911 with a broken bag of water, a son, and a grandmother all panicked as she felt the uncontrollable urge to push. We arrive, we go to work, yup, this is happening here and now! A beautiful and uneventful birth. This is where it got good. Grandma and son were in the back bedroom, to protect the young boy from this event. We were about to cut the cord and I yelled for my crew to stop, NOW! I yell for grandma, who comes out, well, panicked! I call her to my side, she kneels beside me and mom. I tell mom that this may not have been the plan but, let’s make it a good day and a memory for life beyond the circumstance we were all in. I gave grandma the scalpel, got mom’s permission, and grandma cut the cord.
I had never met this man. He was over four hours away at the time. He knew me without any doubt. He refused to let me pay for my haircut and then showed me several pictures of his beautiful girl and how she looks today, some five or six years later.
This job comes with so much ugly, so much despair. To have this moment really meant so very much that we create such good out of bad situations. I love this career. I’m ready to open a new chapter but, I love this career. Hell, I met my beautiful bride through this job!!! But, that is a story for another day.
