Good news and not so great news.
Our Colorado Adventure is still going to happen at the end of May, but the Boss Lady has strongly insisted that we will not be taking the Bronco this trip. The trails we will be on the extreme side and the other vehicles we will be off roading with will all be in their Raptors, so I will be taking my 2014 Raptor.
I will still update you guys with Pictures, just not the Bronco ones, unless we see some there.

all good ... at least you can scout it out first. We'll be in Moab mid-may but we are bringing the Bronco. Not doing anything extreme out there though. Just easy stuff but have some from LCA skid plates (DV8) being delivered today and some rear shock skids (SRQ) being shipped in about a week.

Still want slider/steps so I am debating the SVC one that's coming out. I just had a couple of questions for them first before i commit to the purchase. Almost pulled the trigger on the Next Venture one until i read you have to drill additional holes into the pinch weld. Regardless I won't have either in time for Moab.

Did anyone else get an "item is in" e-mail from WeatherTech after months on the waiting list for mudflaps, only to find that they are not available? Either they sold out in the hour between the e-mail and my going to the site or there is a bug in their inventory system or ...??? The system showed me a screen to sign up for notification again. Sheesh.

Also, we were all supposed to have our Broncos by now, alas i am the only one that has got theirs from our little group that is going.

Yeah I know Cory is so close to getting his but I look at the build groups right behind us and just eye balling it looked like half of 1/10 bg got their delivered and 1/17 bg looks about a third. Sucks that the part constraints have literally turned fabrication the into a complete mess. We were all super fortunate I think that shortages didn’t affect us badly.

On a side note… can’t wait for the future when lithium batteries are short in supply haha. Since the push is to be all EV in around 10 years? personally, just my philosophy too much in one direction is bad. Just need a balance.

Had time to get the top off today. Got an electric hoist on order so I can do it solo.

Nice. I hear you. Yea, I definitely CRINGED hard on one rock that bashed something pretty good. I'll have a close look today, but I think I was just my DSS slider.

He’s got a big bend with the 2.3

His wife has a base 2.3

Both have lifts with 35s

The other girl there Jessica has a black diamond like mine but hers is also on a 2” lift

Yea I did go up to 33” from the 32s

But I really have no doubt your OBX woulda been fine

It’s more about the clearance than the tires

I did rub my skid plates a few times when they did not
HeyWes, did you upgrade to a full skid plate design or just the stock options?
