The 3rd brake light is just vinyl overlay. The emblems are powder coated metal. Ignore my garage, it looks like a tornadohas been through there all the time.

Out of curiosity, did the perch collars increase the ground clearance in the rear diff any? I know that it won’t increase any clearance upfront . Also… 3k???? That’s it? Haha jk I think I’m around 9.3

What, if anything, are folks doing about the 4L "recall"*? Apparently the rear view camera might not turn off in 4L when going from R to D. *It's a remote software fix.

I thought that only affected a few models. I didn't get a recall notice.

Yup I don’t have a recall notification for that either. Pretty sure they’ll track it by VIN numbers to notify you if it potentially affects you

It seems it only applies to models with an 8" screen. I am loathe to risk a "regression bug" (a bug introduced as a side effect of fixing another bug) for something that's unlikely to come up. I only used 4L one time (use 4H a bit). My network/software security expert husband forbade FORSkin. I'll see what he says about the remote software fix. (The notice has been on his desk for days..... )

Nothing new for me, just enjoying when I can. Next up is my brother and I annual trip to Lookout in March. 7k miles from basically crossing the state 6 times in it.

I always tend to run things by everyone in this group. So I was thinking I would put these here for feed back. I've been powder coating the early Bronco fender scripts, but I wanted to offer another fender badge to sell. These are made of acrylic, they can be painted with a little effort. Fully custom to a point. The 90's rounded badge is 8.5 x 1.75 inches, and the script emblem measures 8.5 x 2.75 inches. The black is the base of the emblem and the white ( the white that is shown will actually be black when shipped, customer paints desired color) will be raised. Both will have 3M backing to attach. So what do you all think?

I like the lowest-most design, delighted that Base finally gets an emblem, tho I prefer the term "Basecamp" that someone invented last year.

That's the beauty of it. It can pretty much say what you want it to. I have some material coming in today. I have plans to cut it out tonight and mess with it.
