Well this is not the update I wanted to give you guys but I’m being towed at 310 miles. Debating on posting in the broader forum, but wanted to at least update you guys. Same issue from yesterday, but this morning I was barely able to turn the steering wheel and it’s sending powertrain malfunction warnings to my FordPass app. It’s been towed to the dealership and they have already responded via email that they will look at it in the morning and I should hear something tomorrow.

sent my dealer sunday morning rant asking questions and he just responded.

"Hang in there, we are on the home stretch. We can't do anything to force it to happen any faster. We don't have a direct hand in shipping, theres not really a process other than to wait for it to arrive. Normally that's pretty seamless but obviously we are not in normal times. All we can do is put requests in asking for them to expedite it. These delays are coming from all directions. The rail yard has more cars than they can handle and less staff to get the work done. The truckers have more demand then they can handle too. I'm sure these winter storms have set us back directly or indirectly. I have 4 customer orders sitting at the rail yard so I'm putting these requests in regularly."

@Tarheel_Wes hopefully one of those 4 is yours
that was pretty much verbatim what my dealer told me. Must be a published policy memo issue by FoMoCo

For those not seeing their Bronco in Ford Pass, I clicked on the Activate button then closed the app. Then I reopened the app and my Bronco showed up.

Still no update to trackers.

Really hopeful there's some sort of an update next week. I want to lock in a low rate before any potential increase to rates but would only have up to 45 days to take delivery and with things like Dirt Mountain last year – I'm not sure I want to take any chances until I have a better idea when it might arrive.

Is there another number to call beyond 1-800-334-4375 to get information regarding it being released from MAP?

Poking around on other similar issues seems to possibly related to 4x4 module (not sure if this is separate from TCU) and transfer case.

That is a total bummer though. Hope it gets resolved quickly!

Have you tried the CSX and Union Pacific train trackers? They showed my bronc was on the train while the pizza and backdoor trackers to this day don't indicate "shipped."

I think we're getting closer to delivery. She's 1 of 48 cars scheduled to go to Beach Ford.

I’m not sure it works all the time either. My dad took delivery of his Maverick in December and after we knew it was at the ramp in Dixiana we were checking United Road and it never changed from inactive. It just showed up at the dealership (Tindol) a few days later.
It's interesting that the only ones I see too for my dealer are from the Petersburg Ramp... so maybe it's something they do there that populates it.

Nothing yet for my dealer from Dixiana, I figured it was coincidental, but maybe mine is going to appear inactive til it shows up too.

Oh no :( Im so sorry you are experiencing this. I feel like I saw someone have this happen recently. Maybe a search on the forum will give you some possibilities while you await the actual diagnostics.

I’ve looked at a couple and @Tortuga353 linked one thread. A lot do these seem similar. I’m just really concerned I’m going to end up without it for weeks waiting on parts. It’s completely not drivable at all. Which really concerns me starting issues at 190 miles.

Hopefully just some minor replacement part and that will be it. Fingers crossed for you!

We attended a Drive The Bronco Experience yesterday in Bridgeport, TX. We LOVED it 😁
Arrived and checked in, and were given a sweet Bronco hat. They had a quick safety talk with the group of about 8 of us who picked that time slot, then showed us to our Broncos!
We drove a Cyber Orange 2-door Outer Banks, high package, 2.7, non-Sasquatch. Our guide, Les, talked me through activating Donut Mode (he kept calling it "Trail Turn Assist", but idk about that), locking the rear diff, one-pedal drive mode, and a whole bunch of other features. We did a little bit of very basic hill climbing and rock crawling, and then got to drive through some mud pits.
My favorite part was actually post-drive, when my husband and I stopped by to chat with some of the Bronco team. They were so excited and clearly passionate about the Bronco, and we chatted with them for probably 1.5 hours. Ended up exchanging Instagram handles and promising to reach out next time any of us are in each other's back yards. It was so awesome to talk in person with people who are just as excited for these Broncos as we forum-folk are. The excitement of this event will hold me over until my baby arrives. Definitely recommend if you're invited and it's pretty close. 10/10.
(Side note, this was also my first time seeing EG in person and WOW is it lovely)

So excited to hear about your Off-Roadeo experience! A couple hours of this was nirvana for me - I imagine an entire DAY is going to be a blast.

Did you not need a rail number to do that?
