2 hour drive to Indiana this morning. First time on the highway in my Bronco. After hearing different reports, I’m happy to report that the soft top was quieter than I expected. The only time I thought it was loud was when passing or being passed by a semi.

At the Beer Zoom last night, a few of us talked about doing Eastern Sierra/Death Valley in the Fall, possibly in conjunction with the Lone Pine Western Film Festival/Alabama Hills. We were thinking of going down there this month, but temps are approaching 130° in the shade.

Well after a failed attempt to "make" my own mud flaps and seeing a few nicks on the rocker panel I have decided to order some. I'm just going to put them on the front, I have settled on Rekgen ones with the Merica Flag on them. $120 bucks isn't to bad of price plus they have the flag on them.
