I’m a little confused. So I’m in south Florida but was given BNSF302157 as my rail car number…… isn’t BNSF for west of Mississippi?

I think today is our day@BigKahuna has a scheduled departure from a different terminal. At some point you two are supposed to connect. While we are still sitting around.

Who-hoo! My Bronco made it to Arkansas City, Kansas overnight. Only 574 miles to Pearland, TX lol. Fiancé laughed when he saw my notes from calling CSX daily, but I'm obsessed.

Got my shipped email this morning! I've been completely in the dark until the built and shipped emails, but at least I know that Ford hasn't forgotten about mine. Hoping it arrives before Christmas, but early January is fine too. At least it's on the way! Getting closer!

This is the rail car assigned.
I believe that rail car numbers are assigned for life. This could be a car that was originally purchased by BNSF and was sold. Or it could be leased from BNSF by another carrier. In your case, you should be on CSX. Some people see a delay before the rail carrier picks it up. It could still be sitting at MAP waiting to fill the car.

Beverly, IA @18:55
Marshalltown, IA @21:26
Boone, IA @23:25 (pick up 1 empty car)
Fremont, NE @07:45 (12/12)
Columbus, NE @09:40
Grand Island, NE @12:07 (funny name for a place out in the middle of Nebraska)
North Platte, NE @16:45 (this is the end of the schedule for this train)
I suspect we will transfer routes at this terminal. I think we all stay together until SLC.

woke up to my railcar update saying it departed Friona, TX — that’s past Amarillo, and it’s probably well into New Mexico by now. Making way more progress than I expected.

@ASlaugh looks like you were correct about my car joining the train at Global3, this is the firt time my car has been in the same place as the others. My car isn't listed as one of the 106 cars on the manifest yet, but it seems unlikely that another train would arrive at Mira Loma on the same/date and time, so we'll see. That MNSNP 09 train is 9944 feet long, may be 2 miles long by the time other cars are linked.
My Badlands has made it to New Orleans. Now let’s see how long it takes to convoy the 2 hours down the road)
