Happy palindrome week B6G!!! Having entirely too much time on my hands and being overly OCD, I’ve been (trying to) calculating the build schedule. Looks like the goal is ~550 builds per shift. (Two 10 hour shifts per day) This is all speculation on my part so let the haters hate. I know it's totally optimistic. Maybe this will give somebody a chuckle today.

Starting on 11-29 (This would cover 11-22 blend date):
~550 per 1st shift
~550 per 2nd shift

11-30 (This would cover 11-23 blend date):
~550 per 1st shift
~550 per 2nd shift

12-1 (This would cover 11-24 and partial 12-1 blend dates):
~550 per 1st shift
~330 (finish of 11-24)…~220 (start 12-1*) per 2nd shift
Note: 880 for 11-24 and 220 for 12-1

12-2 (This would cover 12-1 & 12-2 blend dates):
~550 per 1st shift
~550 per 2nd shift

12-3 (This would finish 12-1 & 12-2 and start 12-3 and 12-4 blend dates)
~484(finish 12-1 &2)…~66 (start 12-3) per 1st shift
~550 per 2nd shift

12-4 (This would cover 12-3 and 12-4 blend dates):
~550 per 1st shift
~550 per 2nd shift

12-6 (This would finish 12-3 and 12-4 blend dates):
~216 per 1st shift…

If this theory holds, I would think my 12-2 blend date and being 1455/1804, I could get built around 8:30am on 12-3. 🤯🤯🤯

Am i reading this correctly that it seems things are about 2 days behind schedule?

It seems like they were. Since they didn't get all the 11-23 builds done on the 11-30, it looks like they are slipping into 2-1/2 days (or 4 shifts) behind. This is just what I'm seeing as far as the 11-22 BW spreadsheet. 🤷‍♀️

That sounds about right to me. If MAP is able to maintain pace, I expect the 11/24s to get maybe halfway (440 vehicles) done tonight and the rest will be done tomorrow. So we'll see 12/1s starting to pop tomorrow night.

Are we reading too much into/overvaluing “modules popping” as a way to track these builds? Who’s to say a build isn’t already complete and the system takes a day or two to update statuses on modules, etc.

I’m probably being too much of an optimist (should have learned better by now) but hoping there’s a lot we don’t fully understand about the process and things are running on time. Need a Christmas delivery to happen so we can head to the snowy CO mountains with 4x4.

The module pops seem to happen in waves a few times a day. If a given Bronco's modules had been completed a day or so before, you would kind of expect those to show up in one of the earlier waves rather than wait an extra day. Otherwise, why do the updates so frequently? It would make more sense to batch them up once a day.

Granted there are definitely exceptions. There are some Broncos that are completely "dark" and then magically show up on a dealer's lot. But given what we see in the spreadsheet and the way Mod pop updates come in, I suspect they're closer to real-time or at most a half-day off.

Based on what I read and see, I also think that the module uploads and the "Built" status lags at least a day behind the actual car rolling off the line.

Order tracker is down today. Based on the completion rate of the 11/15 blend week I'm wondering if we're getting reassigned?

Week 11/22 spreadsheet, just looked now and hoping the pace gets picked up! Otherwise it looks like our blend dates will start one day back, so Thursday instead of Wednesday.

Week 11/22 build is definitely going slower, not sure what has has caused the delay. I am 11/24 blend and have no clear sight on when it will be built.

What if they never sent me the hammock to in fact, “hang in there”?

No worries to me though. I’m currently driving my Bronco. Christmas lights went on it today.

You know when you see those pictures of other peoples' pets that they've dressed up in ridiculous Halloween costumes and the pets all look miserable? ;)

My 2.5 year old son loved it. That’s all that matters to me.
