As much as this would help Ford get vehicles to customers quicker, I can imagine it would be a logistical nightmare and take a lot of resources to manage properly.

Plus technically it’s the dealerships vehicle, not yours. So maybe they might have better luck trying?

I know, my dealer said they would allow it and I would have it purchased and financed before I take possession. So it is up to Ford to see if they can make it happen. I know others have been able to do it in the past. We will see, I feel like I am at an 2% chance of this happening, so I am like:

Got the Shipped email this morning. Already sent my dealership an email asking for railcar info. The closer it gets to being here the more anxiety inducing it is. LOL

I literally emailed Ford less than an hour ago about my Ford to see if I can pick it up and now on my tracker it says this:

I wonder if it is a coincidence . Still no email or update on Palsapp.
Exciting though!

Unfortunately, Same here. Hoping it finds a way to the dealer ahead of the holiday.....

I wonder how much of this is tied to staffing challenges in trucking.

I am sure it has Something to do with it. Between that and the shortage of vehicles, I'm sure it's a bit harder to fill trucks heading this way.
