I have the nerf bars somebody in here (@MOBroncoSTL?) posted about way back when. They're sitting in a box waiting for me to do the pinch weld delete. Hopefully I have that done and the nerf bars on this weekend and I can tell you what my 5'2" wife thinks about them.
Yes please let me know how she likes them. We vertically challenged need to stick together šŸ˜ŠšŸ˜‚

Here is a link to the TAC nerf bars that I have for my 2 door. I love the look of them and they are pretty functional. They also seem to be well made. The two drawbacks are that they aren't the greatest for stepping on to lift yourself into the truck. I think it may be a combination of being round in some parts and they don't stick out far enough. Also, the rubberized stepping pad seems to always be dirty. Neither of these bother me much thought as it just takes a minute to clean them after coming out of the car wash and I only use them sometimes when entering or exiting the truck. They sell flatter ones as well fyi. Here are the round 3" ones I bought. https://www.tacautoparts.com/produc...lack-side-bars-nerf-bars-off-road-accessories I will definitely be keeping them as the pros outweigh the cons by far for me.
Thank you, Iā€™ll check them out!

Initial review is, they are a bit awkward for me to use, but I can get in without stepping up anyway and they don't quite stick out far enough that it causes issues getting in without them. My wife said they make getting in "a thousand times easier." I don't know if there is a scientific basis for "a thousand times," but she gave them a thumbs up. They were also incredibly easy to install.

Ha ha, like a kid in a candy shop StephLuna. FirstBaseman, I agree. Sometimes I use them but when I forget they don't get in the way. I personlly love the way they look and I do think they block some gravel and spray on the doors. For the price, I love em.

I've already heard them get pinged a couple of times so I think you're right that they are blocking at least some rocks. First day of school today, and it helped the kids (4 and 6) scramble up for sure.
I also hit the pinch weld with Wurth High Build as described in this thread. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/making-the-pinch-weld-ā€˜disappearā€™.36082/page-2
Didn't get a chance to get before and after pictures because I was burning daylight and had to get the nerf bars on, but there are plenty of pictures in that thread and elsewhere. Probably a YMMV thing, but the pinch weld always caught my eye in a bad way and now I don't even notice that area.

I feel you - I got the recall notice two days before I drove in for PPF, I was going to have PPF applied to the windshield too!

I'm heading to the dealership to order some floor mats with my FordPass points finally...
I ā€œconvenientlyā€ got blasted with a rock on the highway and now have a 12ā€ crack in my windshield. $594 for OEM glass (base model here) and no labor since that will be covered via the adhesion recall. I didnā€™t know you could add PPF to the windshield. Is that common?

Wow! Saw this thread pop up and wondered what was going onā€¦ I didnā€™t know there were still a few waiting. Nearly 5 months later and everyone has their rig!!!

It seems like yesterday we were all getting exciting about seeing our window stickers pop, waiting for the ā€œbuiltā€ update on the tracker to show up and then calling the rail company five times a day getting transit updates. Congrats everyone and it sounds like weā€™re all enjoying our new rigs.

I finally finished my last mod (for a while) this week but there are too many to list so Iā€™ll just say Iā€™m really having fun driving this thing. Iā€™ve driven big pickups for 40 years and itā€™s nice to finally have a ā€œtinyā€œ and fun rig.

Lastly, shout out and a big thanks to @mpmcgaughey for the cool sticker!

Sorry to hear your windshield got sacrificed :(

Not sure if it's common - but the shop that installed my PPF has it as an option (and I've ready about it elsewhere). I'm impressed by the PPF so far - the rig got kissed pretty hard by the trail a few weeks ago and no marks, scratches, or tears in the PPF (warrantied for 10 years).

How many of yā€™all have gotten your windshields redone? One of the admins in our Houston Bronco Club said that their dealer can pop out the windshield and apply adhesive in a day if you donā€™t want to replace the entire windshield and Iā€™m thinking of going that route as ours is ceramic tinted and (knock on wood) we donā€™t have any cracks, dings, chips in our windshield yet and I know when we take ours in for its first oil changeā€¦yeah, we havenā€™t cracked 4,000 miles yet lolā€¦that itā€™ll be addressed and weā€™ll face to go down that road.
