You really don't want me to answer that but I will.

I originally placed my order with a very small dealer back in October. They said because of allocation, I would be looking at late 2022 or early 2023 based on what they knew in Oct. 2021.

I decided to go to talk to a larger dealer and placed an order with them on 1/14/22. I was scheduled the very next week. Of course, that has been moved, but to me - allocation is the key to all of this.

The smaller dealer called me last week and said that commodity restraints were going to hold me back. If I wanted to drop 2.7, Lux, and SAS that my order would likely be picked up, but that isn't what I wanted so we canceled the order. Oddly enough, the smaller dealer got at least 5 unordered Broncos that same day.

They sell at invoice + $399 fee. Check out Walterboro Ford in South Carolina if you want to see what they have.

Thanks for the info. I placed my order with Chapman Ford in NJ on 1/24/22, $1,500 below MSRP and around $400 docs. I'm in no hurry, my 2012 Wrangler only has 36k miles so will last until the Bronco arrives (looking at the 2.7 problems, will likely outlive the Bronco)
Hopefully the Bronco arrives with good weather and I can take the wife to Hershey and Lancaster up there.

Thanks for the info. I placed my order with Chapman Ford in NJ on 1/24/22, $1,500 below MSRP and around $400 docs. I'm in no hurry, my 2012 Wrangler only has 36k miles so will last until the Bronco arrives (looking at the 2.7 problems, will likely outlive the Bronco)
Hopefully the Bronco arrives with good weather and I can take the wife to Hershey and Lancaster up there.

I feel for those that had orders in way back in mid-2020.

Not fair to them that they are not the priority. Should be first in, first out in my opinion.

I have a 2014 Wrangler with 114K on it, so not in a hurry other than I have been waiting on Ford to release this for decades.

You aren’t going to like my answer but I ordered January 2nd 2022. Build date was 3-21 pushed back to 4-4

This order was placed 11/17/21. Its Crazy bc it got scheduled the same time as my original reservation did from September 2020 at a different dealer.

I just found out that I was bumped from 3/28 to 4/4. I'm expecting this won't be the last bump in the schedule.

Wow. Lots of recent orders getting filled. Seems if you order the right config from the right dealer you're good to go (minus the bumpy build process). Also, seems Ford is giving some priority to newer orders.

I reserved 7/16/20. My first build date was 3/21. This is my first bump, to 4/4. I still see posts from 7/14 res holders who dropped constraints and don't have VINs.

I think you nailed it with the right config at the right dealer. I'm sure Ford doesn't want all their Broncos in one area, so seems like they are making sure all dealers get some orders allocated in different regions. Just speculating, do feel bad though for reservation holders without VINs though.

4/4 Build week google doc

My build week got moved from 3/21 to 4/4. I did not see a build week google doc for 4/4 so decided to start one. Hopefully this build week sticks.
