My date was 10/3 this morning when I checked. Now showing 10/7. Super frustrating. Has anyone gotten any sort of explanation or any kind of answers to the dates being pushed? The trucks are built. Is it really that bad for finding delivery trucks?
The explanation I got was that they can’t find anyone to drive…. At least that’s what my dealer told me. He also confirmed JCT would be the one transporting my vehicle so I’m very tempted to call and see if that’s the truth or if I’m just being lied to in order to save face at this point.

I think I’d be ok with some additional communication. Dates getting pushed with no details why is the worst part.

Tracking the trip from MAP in Wayne, MI, to Norfolk Southern's Automotive Distribution Facility in Petersburg, VA, from where my Bronco will be trucked 30 minutes to my dealer. I'm using the tracking method for Norfolk Southern found in the Trackers section of this site.

Annnnnnd I'm back to a 10/3 delivery..
What the actual [email protected]#%??
So does the union allow guys to drink on the job?
I'm picturing some guy half loaded changing shit chuckling to himself...
But my guess is there's a shortage of drivers being is there is for everything else. Even Amazon is hiring private partys to deliver packages.

it shouldn’t take a week to ship a built car.

Yes, it is. I live near LA/Long Beach port which handles 1/3 or freight entering the country. There's a 1 month plus wait to offload ships and I think now over 70 ships anchored or adrift off shore. It's largely due to lack of trucks to move it from the ports. It's nuts.

Update to my brothers if you care:

The dealership came down $2,500 and I caved and ate the rest as a shit sandwich.

I just couldn't let them have it knowing how much more they would mark it up for the next guy, and it's mine.

Glad you got your Bronco!

On a positive note, you could easily sell it for 10K more than you bought it for even with the 2500 ADM, so you do have some equity for a while.

If I was in your shoes I would of done the same thing. It sucks big hairy balls that dealers are doing this and know they will get away with it.

Hopefully you can put this past you and move on to enjoy your Bronco!

I'm ready to forget the costs I suffered today and start suffering the costs of accessories

Yep..certainly not 3 weeks. Another pushed to 10/7. Not holding my breath that will stick. Seems they just bump it back a few days until they get close then bump it again.
